They will not be able to express how they truly feel about each other but worst yet one character will not be able to express that he was a total jackass for his actions. Eddie Dillon and Mick O'Loughlin are long time friends and lovers. They are both total opposites of each other but make a great couple and they both want their roommate, Whit. Eddie is the dominant partner but hardly ever acts on his Dom ways with Mick. Sure he might be a little rough with him but would not go the extent of spanking him or even trying to tie him up. Now, Mick is a sincere man who shows his feelings and Eddie is not able to compete with that. Mick is the kind of man that any woman would want as a partner not saying that there is something wrong with Eddie, because there truly is not. Whitney Montcrief is a bossy woman but there is something in the way that Eddie's dominant voice just makes her melt. After hearing Eddie and Mick in the shower making out, she finds her self very aroused and somewhat curious. I loved all the three characters in this book, I really connected with them. There was something about how they cherished Whit that made me want something like that. They made her feel like a princess. The sex scenes were scorching hot that I am surprised that my e-reader did not go up in flames. Eddie is a great lover with his kinks and all but Mick does not fall behind. I am not into reading much of male on male action but there was something about Eddie and Mick that just seemed natural. Like I stated before I appreciated that Ms. Lopez still made this about Whit's sexual pleasure. The characters really belonged together. There is a bit of a mystery in this book because you keep on reading about bank robberies that are occurring and the robbers escaping. Only you have no idea which of the characters will be in the middle of the next robbery, the damage that is done to that person, will the character survive the shooting. My heart went out to the character because there is no telling the extent of the injury and how it will play into their relationship in the future. Will there be a blissful future for Eddie, Mick and Whit? All around, BETWEEN FRIENDS has a good storyline and some really hot sex scenes. This book will definitely be a keeper for my library. I will be on the lookout for more books by Lolita Lopez because this is definitely a book to put in the keeper pile for a reread in the future.
