Mary Suzanne gives us a story I found delightful. I’ve never laughed so much. As far as the plotline goes, this one was intriguing and fun! The scenes change fast, but you are able to keep up. Excerpt

"It's a pleasure meeting you," Blair said, with a smile.
“I was beginning to think you were a figment of Bob’s imagination,” Amanda spoke up laughing lightly. “He’s mentioned you before, but we were just about to give up on the idea we’d ever meet you.”
A sobering thought struck Blair as she listened to Amanda. Blair silently wondered why Bob hadn’t made more of an effort to see her. Except for the phone calls and the occasional letter, I might as well have been a figment of his imagination.
After sitting, she leaned back looking around the room. She saw Seth’s familiar profile and her throat tightened. She watched how he leaned forward, his face looking animated as he listened to what a red-haired woman was saying to him. Blair felt an unexpected twinge in her chest when she saw the two of them in the intimate setting. Quickly glancing away, she tried concentrating on Amanda’s conversation.
"Isn't that Seth Evans over there?" Amanda asked, nodding toward the opposite side of the room.
"Who's Seth Evans?" Steve asked curiously.
"He was an actor at one time, but now he directs films,” Amanda’s eyes widened, "Don't look now, but he's walking toward our table."
As Blair listened, she secretly glanced from the corner of her eye and braced herself. Sure enough, she caught the outline of Seth’s muscular body walking across the room. When he came within inches of their table, she knew from feeling his body heat he’d arrived behind her. She slowly looked up.
There was the familiar twinkle lighting the gaze she knew so well. He gave her a wink as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Dance with me, Blair," he said huskily, removing his hand and gently reaching for her arm.
He didn’t give her the chance to refuse him. As she looked at the other three, she noticed how they watched with interest as the encounter unfolded. She saw amazement on Amanda's face, and a curious look lining Steve’s. Bob’s held a look of anger.
The walk across the room seemed endless, but Seth’s hand still gripped her arm. When he gathered her in his arms, Blair looked into his dark face.
"Bob looks furious,” she murmured into his ear.
“Let’s forget Bob.”
Bob was across the room watching them on the dance floor, but Seth had an answer for that. He danced her across the crowded floor to a place it would be hard for anyone to pick them out from so many other people.
Moments later, she felt his warm breath fanning her earlobe sending a quiver racing through her. Just being near him made her come to life. Blair realized Seth could affect her simply by a touch. When his lips brushed against hers, she quickly pulled back.
“What’s wrong?” he looked into her face.
"We shouldn’t be doing this on the dance floor,” she managed to say with a breathless catch in her voice.
"Then let’s get out of here and go somewhere more private.” He pulled her tighter to his broad chest keeping his hands secured behind her back.
“I can’t leave!” Blair offered the protest, but felt the familiar rise of excitement coursing through her again at his closeness. Instead of pulling away as she should have done, she nuzzled closer feeling his strong arms circling her slender waist.
His muscled arms felt so protective that she surrendered fully to his intimate possession on the dance floor. In her heart, she knew this wasn’t how she should feel, but she smothered the sound of the little voice ringing in her head.
Dancing to an even more secluded spot, he leaned his head toward her and captured her lips. His tongue swiftly invaded her mouth extracting a sudden response from a willing Blair. She gave herself fully to his kisses without as much as a second thought. The kisses could only have taken seconds, but she felt a lifetime pass between them. She wanted more than a kiss from him. When he eventually released her swollen lips, she looked up at him, her eyes filled with need.
Seth felt his insides shaking with desire. He remembered everything about Blair’s shapely body from the passion they’d shared. Oh, how I’d love to pick you up and carry you to my room and repeat what we had in Tennessee and Georgia.
When the song ended, he was reluctant to release her, but eventually walked her slowly to her table. By the time they reached her group, he managed to settle the rapid beat of his heart.
"Thanks for the dance, Blair," Seth said huskily, leaning toward her and brushing his cheek against hers intimately as he held the back of her chair.
She could only nod. Her tongue felt too thick to form any words. She lifted her glass and took a long swallow to ease the parched feeling. From the corner of her eye, she watched Seth making his way across the room.
As she glanced up, her brown eyes collided with Bob’s. She thought it seemed strange he didn't say anything, but she saw the anger eat away at him. Instead, he lifted his drink and swallowed the contents, grimacing as the fiery liquid hit his throat.
"How do you know Seth Evans?" Amanda sighed as she watched Seth’s form melt into the crowd, "He’s dreamy."
