4.5 DELIGHTFUL DIVAS: "Cowboy Love on Hold, The Cowboy Way 1 by Luxie Ryder was a surprisingly refreshing take on love stories in the threesome lifestyle. Ms. Ryder's characters are fresh, genuine and relateable. Long lost loves coming back together are a favorite story line of mine, especially when it involves two hot men. Even though Kimber is really the glue between Brandon and Wade, I felt like the story really focused on the relationship, or lack thereof, between Brandon and Wade. Kimber doesn't know the real reason why Brandon left her and disappeared many years ago, making her turn to Wade for comfort, but when she finds out not only is it a shock but a pleasant surprise as well. Brandon returns home to find that Kimber and Wade are now together and not only does it hurt him, he is worried that there is no room for him anymore in their lives. Wade has to finally deal with issues he thought long buried, but he needs both his best friend and his girlfriend to help him. When trouble follows Brandon back to his home town, he not only has to deal with his past relationships, but he has to figure out a way to salvage and save those he loves. Kimber has to be strong for both men even though she struggles with the feelings that Brandon brings out in her even though she has been with Wade for so long. Cowboy Love on Hold by Luxie Ryder is a great story with love, sex, secrets, lies, danger and sexy men. 5 STARS: "I'm a sucker for the reuniting of old love, so it's no wonder I loved COWBOY LOVE ON HOLD so much. Add a great plot, some intense action, and plenty of sizzling sex to that rekindled love and we've definitely got a hit. Brandon, and almost-retired Special Ops soldier comes home after his mom gets sick and sees the two people he loves most in the world, Kimber and Wade. What makes it worse is that Kimber and Wade now obviously love each other instead of him. Years away haven't faded his feelings for them, but he's not sure that they will accept him after leaving all those years ago, especially after the way things ended between him and Wade. However, he's willing to do what he has to do to get the people he loves back, even if that means rehashing old wounds. They've finally got a chance to be together once old truths come out, but when Brandon's dangerous job comes home to his loves, he has to fight to protect the life he never thought he'd have. Wow, this book was fantastic. It had a lot of emotion in it, and that was the first thing that hooked me. I really felt for all three of them: Kimber, Brandon and Wade. I felt like this was a situation where the things that happened occurred because the three of them were young and unsure of themselves. I couldn't be mad at anyone for what happened. It just was. But it made hope for their relationship to work out that much harder. The plot was also gripping. It had suspense and action that kept the fact that Brandon was a Special Ops soldier front and center in our minds, and also made the overall story more interesting. COWBOY LOVE ON HOLD also had a ton of hot lovin'. There was m/f/m sex, m/f, m/m and m/m/f. I thought that although there was tons of sex, it was about the reconnection that the trio was trying to form. But nevertheless, it was steamy, erotic and extremely sexy. So, a sweet love story surrounded by a good story and smokin' hot sex. And having a woman get two sexy cowboys, what could be better? I read this book in one sitting because it ensnared me from start to finish. Brandon smiled down at Kimber splayed out on the rug and turned to find Wade walking towards him on shaky legs. Wade shrugged the crumpled bathrobe from his shoulders and didn’t try to hide from Brandon’s gaze as it wandered over him.
