A young woman boldly walked over and sat down next to him, her shirt unbuttoned just enough to provide Duke a clear view of what she had to offer. She had plenty, he had to admit, but she was not his type. Duke had found what he wanted tonight within seconds of walking through the door.

“How ‘bout a dance, cowboy?” the woman asked.

Duke put his bottle of beer to his lips. After he took a drink, his beer wetted lips made the woman want him even more. “No thanks.”

“Are you sure, cowboy?”

“I’m sure,” he said, and took another drink.

Duke smiled to himself. He set his empty beer bottle down and walked slowly toward the back of the bar where couples were dancing. He leaned nonchalantly against the wall, glancing occasionally at the woman he had chosen for tonight’s awakening. He would definitely awaken the young cowgirl. He always did. The cowboy hat he kept in his truck on his annual cross country trek was the perfect way to disguise his cruising of the young filly. His chosen cowgirl was dancing with the man she thought she was going home with tonight. But that was about to change.
