STORY EXCERPT

According to the calendar it wasn’t a Monday, but it sure felt like one to Sienna Jackson. What started out as a decent hair day ended up as a bad hair day as soon as she stepped out into the frigid wind. Winter was announcing its presence clearly. Soon the holiday season would begin, but she never celebrated. She secretly loved Christmas lights, but her mom never showed an interest in any holiday. Besides, it meant a party was happening somewhere.

Sienna ran to her car, dreading this day. Normally she enjoyed her job as a reporter for the Leon Valley News. Not today. The editor of the paper she worked for, Robert Hayes, was sending her to cover the re-grand opening of the newly remodeled fire station. She hated that he always picked her to cover these fluffy stories, as she called them. The two male reporters always covered fires, accidents, and anything remotely interesting. Robert Hayes was in his early seventies and thought women should not have careers, just something to occupy them until the kids came along. She wasn’t married and had no intention of getting married. Love wasn’t something she was buying into ever again. Been there, done that. No thanks.

As she waited for her car heater to throw out some warm air, she re-brushed her long red hair and put it up in a simple ponytail while looking in her small rearview mirror. At least her make-up was fine, she consoled herself. Her dress was thick and a maroon color. It was wrinkle resistant, so that was a plus. She took time with her appearance this morning, knowing she might run into Sam Anderson.

As soon as she felt some warmth, she put her car in drive and headed for the fire station, hoping and praying Sam would be out on a call or absent from work for the day. He was an EMT who worked from the fire station. She did her best to avoid seeing Sam and Sterling Anderson. Leon Valley wasn’t a super small town, but still avoiding certain people wasn’t always easy. If she had the bad luck to be in the same space as them, she ignored them completely. The pain wasn’t as raw as it had been six months ago, but it was still there. At least her best friend, Adam Lopez, was meeting her to document the big event. He was a photographer who freelanced for the paper. He’d make it bearable for her.

Sienna pulled in behind Adam’s black SUV and took a breath in before letting it back out. She could do this. She was over their betrayal, she told herself. She composed herself and got out of her car, carrying her bag where she carried her wallet, notepad, and tape recorder just in case.

She spotted Adam waiting by his vehicle for her to arrive. She gave him a look of relief. He had always been her number one supporter since middle school. He gave her a huge hug as if he sensed she needed it. “Hey, doll.”

Sienna smiled, hugging him back. She looked up into his brown eyes. His black hair swept across his forehead, looking perfect as always. Why did the wind not affect him, she wondered? He was always so well groomed.

“Sam is in there, doll,” Adam warned her with a look of sympathy. He’d listened to her heartbreak woes often enough. She gasped. Well hell, it might as well be a bad luck Monday.

“Don’t give him the satisfaction of seeing you upset. He’s not worth your angst.” Adam threw his arm around her shoulder, forcing her to head for the station where the garage doors were open wide. She appreciated the warning. With a polite smile she entered the warmth of the large brick building that housed Leon Valley’s newly remodeled fire station.

It wasn’t Thanksgiving yet, but Christmas decorations filled the large brick station already. A few curious citizens walked around, viewing the new remodel. It was a public grand opening where people could walk around and see the changes. Kids could even meet the firefighters. Punch and cake sat on a small table with balloons.

Chief Stanley Wilson smiled when he spotted Sienna. He gave her a cheery wave. He wore his official uniform with a hat over his short gray hair. Stanley had briefly dated her mother a year ago. He was nice enough, but he could get a little too free with his hands. She trusted Adam to intervene.

“Sienna. You’re looking good, sweetheart.” He greeted her with a friendly hug even though she’d only met him a few times when she had dinner with her mom.

“Chief.” She pulled away quickly, taking a step back. She took in the view as he took her coat and hung it up on a coat rack. It really did turn out nice. The smell of fresh paint still stuck around.

Adam took out his camera, ready to start taking pictures.

“You must be feeling very happy right about now, Chief. This looks like a whole new place,” she admitted with genuine compliments.

“I sure am.” He opened his arms wide with a proud smile. “I worried for months, but it came out better than I expected.”

Sienna looked around. Two large red, clean fire trucks took up space in the garage area. Lockers lined one wall. She heard Adam’s camera click as he took pictures. Kids were running to the trucks and wanting to look inside. “It sure does, Chief.”

“Let me give you the grand tour,” he suggested, putting his hand at her back and guiding her around. She followed him into the new living room area that held two long couches. A flat-screen TV hung on the wall. In the corner was a pool table. It was an open floor plan, and you could see the kitchen. Chief Wilson explained everything was new and up to date. She smiled at his enthusiasm.

Sienna’s heart clenched with pain as soon as she spotted Sam sitting at the long table in the kitchen with a few of the firemen drinking coffee. He looked so relaxed and unaffected by her being there. It dented her ego, but what could she do? She’d been the only one in love, she reminded herself.

“Sienna,” he greeted politely with a small nod. She couldn’t ignore him in front of everyone or give him a look of disdain like she wanted. She hadn’t forgiven him and his brother.

“Sam.” Her voice was short and cold. He was as handsome as ever, but she had to remember his dishonesty. His broad shoulders filled out his beige uniform, but she did her best to ignore that. She’d been living in a cloud of romantic fantasies, believing they were faithful, loyal men. Her mom had told her it was better to get a dog if she was looking for loyalty and faithfulness. Molly Jackson should know since she had tried marriage three times already, and it never worked out. Husband number one had been Sienna’s father, but he left both of them. Now she just had lovers.

ADULT EXCERPT

Sterling turned Sienna around and positioned her on her knees so she was facing him. Her green eyes glittered with desire and joy. He always wanted to see her look like this. He wanted to erase every shadow from her eyes. Her lips were full, lush, and red. He wanted them wrapped around his dick right now. He never thought they’d have this again. He’d given up too easily last time but no more. She belonged to them, and that was that. Failure was not an option.

He caressed his cock, and her lips turned up into a sexy smile. She licked her lips, looking up at him. “For me?”

He chuckled, grabbing and tugging a strand of her red hair. It was a deep red that reminded him of fire. “Only for you,” he swore.

Her lips opened, welcoming him, and he wasted no time in putting his cock in her mouth. She opened wider, taking him in deeper. To have her mouth wrapped around his dick once again was a dream come true. Sterling drove deep, putting his fingers in her hair. Sam was behind her playing with her pussy. It had been so long, but he didn’t want to come to quick either. She bopped her head up and down on his length, making him even harder. Her tongue explored every inch of him as if she enjoyed what she was doing. When she moaned at whatever Sam was doing, he felt it deeply. It was a light hum against his cock, and the sensation felt heavenly.

“Oh shit, baby.” He gasped when he felt the vibrations of her moaning. For a moment he wondered if he was dreaming. Then she looked up at him, and he saw the emotions in her eyes. “So good. I don’t want it to end,” he told her. Her eyes agreed without words.

* * * *

Sam couldn’t wait another moment to be inside of Sienna. His cock was hard as steel, and her pussy was wet and waiting, tempting him. His fingers slid easily in and out of her wet pussy, and he knew she was ready for him.

“Do I need a condom?” His voice came out low and raspy, but he was hanging on by a thread.

“I’m still on the pill.” She let go of Sterling’s cock long enough to answer. He was relieved because he didn’t want anything in the way. He wanted skin to skin.

He lowered his cock to her entrance and slowly pushed into her wet pussy. Her round ass was perfectly heart-shaped, and he squeezed it, wanting to take a bite out of it. Instead he slapped her ass lightly. He moaned when he was in her.

“Perfect, Sienna. Always perfect,” he swore, pushing deeper in to her. He set a slow pace, making her cry out in pleasure and push back against his cock. Sterling’s hands were on her shoulders, holding her body still as he thrust into her. He wished he could stare into her eyes. That was his favorite memory. How shiny her green eyes would get in throes of passion. What a fool he’d been to dismiss what he felt as a passing fancy. He wasn’t getting over this woman in this lifetime or the next. He knew that now. Accepted it. Felt his soul get happy with the knowledge he found the one.

He held her hips, thrusting into her faster. He felt lightheaded, but he was so fucking happy right now. She had gone back to sucking on Sterling’s cock, and Sterling looked like he was in pain, his head thrown back and his eyes closed. He was groaning, holding on to her long red hair with his fists, rotating his hips.

Sam let go of his thoughts and just let the electricity flow through his blood, taking over every cell of his body. He was on the edge ready to explode. He pumped into her, picking up the pace, thrusting in and out until he felt beads of sweat on his forehead. Her bed creaked with his thrusts. Sterling was muttering under his breath, and Sienna was moaning loudly. Within minutes all three of them were finding their release together. He eased out of her slowly, feeling euphoric.

“I feel weak,” Sam managed to mutter, surprised he could still speak. His climax had been strong. Months of abstinence and Sienna’s sexy body had done that to him. His legs were shaking like a colt.

Sterling chuckled, looking dazed himself. Sienna had her cheek on the mattress, and her eyes were closed. Her unbruised cheek was a pretty shade of pink. “Absolutely wonderful,” she promised, sounding sleepy. It aroused him all over again.

Sterling chuckled, moving her hair away from her face. “This is just the beginning, sweetheart. Round two coming up.”

Sienna opened her eyes. “I’m ready, Officer Anderson. Did you bring your handcuffs?”

Sam laughed, feeling at peace. All was right in his world, and he wanted it to stay that way.
