5 STARS: "Finding Angel is sexy, sweet, suspenseful, horrifying and funny. There is lots of love, love hate relationships, dirty cops, mobsters, secrets, but mostly love. I feel like I was on a roller coaster ride full of so many emotions but that did not stop me from trying my best to read from the first page to the last in less than two days. I'm going to try to get to sleep early so I will not come into late to work tomorrow as I did today because I could not put the book down. My heart went out to Angel Wylde because of the traumatizing events that she lived with for so long. I was totally confused in the first chapter trying to figure out what had happened to her ex, as it talked about what type of life she lived with him, but most of all you could tell she hated him, especially after reading what he did with a knife under the bed as he used it on Angel. After I finished reading the first chapter, I understood why she could not leave him because she feared for her life. Angel needed to get back into the social scene and see if anything had changed in the city and see if she could still find old acquaintances. It seemed things could not go any better for her since she saw a couple of friends and decided to stop by a BDSM club and see if things had changed. Daniel and Christian Shore noticed the woman of their dreams across the street from where they had dinner, a short distance from the BDSM club but left her alone because she got a kiss and a hug from a male. They were having a welcome home party for Daniel at the club and hoped that this was the night that they found their true love. So the moment that Daniel spotted Angel down below, they knew they had a chance with her and Christian made his way down to her but she shot both of them down. I was surprised on how quickly they knew they found their one, because before I knew it, I was reading how they were transforming a room solely for her in their home. They knew nothing of this woman but they knew that she was made for them when all she left them to remember her by was that her name was Cinderella. When they found out her true name, they vowed to spank her as soon as they found her again. The relationship between Angel, Daniel and Christian started off somewhat normal. They spoke on the phone and talked about everything except Angel tried to dismiss the questions headed her direction. Then something happened that had Angel in the hospital where Daniel worked in and found herself in a heap of trouble. Not only was she sleeping with a married man but Christian came to the motel where she had done her deed and he helped her clean any evidence that might show that a female was present. From that moment, both brothers knew that since they had her in their home, they were not going to let her leave. Now for the mobster that wants Angel to help him find incriminating evidence that her ex had on him. Adrian Hastings was a confusing character because from the beginning he treated Angel differently than what you would expect a mobster to treat someone. They are usually mean and ruthless. Yet with her, there was a sense of love and protection. Sure he put a bounty on her head, sent her threatening texts, but he actually had feelings for her. Characters will find themselves being kidnapped, getting shot, being killed and yes one finds himself being sliced open for helping a friend. All I have to say is the sequence of events when everything is exposed, people let go of their pride and find out that love can make someone have a change in heart. Ms. Graham really knows how to write a wonderful suspense story. Yes, I have to admit that it took me after reading the first two to three chapters for me to get fully get into the rhythm of the book. After that I just wanted to continue reading and see what would happen next. Ms. Graham really gave detailed descriptions of the surroundings that enveloped the characters. I could not help smile when Angel believed that everything would be forgotten if she mentioned sex. Sure Daniel and Christian were both ready to comply but soon found out her way of distracting them. Since I'm on that topic lets just say that I'm surprised that the bedroom did not go up in flames with their lovemaking. Damn it was so hot, sexy and erotic. Sure, I got a little irritated when I kept coming to words that I knew there should be "z" not an "s" or like arse I like ass better. But after awhile I got over it and continued reading. After reading this book, I am certain that I will check Ms Graham out and see what other books she has out there that I can pick up. Kudos for a well plot out story that I will not forget anytime soon. If you want a book with the right amount of action, suspense and engaging characters, then this book is one you want to pick up. I'll be honest, when I first started to read Finding Angel I didn't expect to fall in love with all of the characters, main and secondary, but as the story went on I was sucked in and couldn't put it down. Angel has had a very tough life and as you read about everything that she's been put through by the men that were supposed to love her you can't help but appreciate how tough she's turned out to be. Meeting Daniel and Christian is truely a blessing because they are able to show her what unconditional love really is. Jan Graham did an amazing job of writing that love story so that, as a reader, you feel a part of their relationship. The twists that Finding Angel has near the end were completely unexpected and I loved everything that was happening as the story wound down. Finding Angel was funny, heart breaking, intense and sensual. At times, it did seem to drag and it is a long novel at about 400 pages, but I couldn’t stop reading it. Angel has had her share of abusive relationships and it’s surprising that she still can and wants to be a submissive. As we follow Angel through her unique relationships with an abuser, a drug lord, a detective and finally two dominants, we learn a lot about love, life and her path to happiness. Angel has a life most of us can’t relate to but it is told so well, I felt like I was there with her through it all. She is a wonderful character fun of strength, fears, love and more.
