The plot of the story was slow coming and was much unexpected. Then when it ruptures the cowboys were so attentive and with that the three characters were finally able to profess their feelings and speak the three lovely words, I Love You. Her Long Hot Surrender can be read as a stand alone book. But I recommend you to also read the first two books if you haven’t done so.
