I was walking to the bar during a Halloween party, just having seen some moron wearing nothing but mistletoe, when I spotted a bigger dumbass dressed as an elf. Oh for heaven sakes! And that was not the attire I'd ever seen in the North Pole. The guy had on friggin stockings that someone would hang on the fireplace, a bright green thong, and nothing else.

“You think any cowboy wouldn’t be saying the same thing about your outfit?” a deep whiskey drawl said with a chuckle from next to me.

“Yeah, but I pull it off,” I replied with a pout as I glanced down at myself. Okay, so maybe the cowboy boots, belt with large rodeo buckle, and Stetson didn’t go with the leather boy shorts I had on. I looked up at the man and saw the most gorgeous dark chocolate brown eyes shining down at me with mirth. “I didn’t mean to offend anyone.”

“And the guy dressed as a mythical creature did?” If he only knew who or what he was talking to.

“Probably not, but he still looks stupid,” I answered and stuck out my bottom lip. “I think I look good.” I wanted him already after just having met him, and I tended to get what I wanted. I turned and stuck out my ass, the boy shorts forming to it perfectly and letting the cheeks stick out the bottom. “Don’t you like?”

I’m Benjii Kepper, and I’m just visiting for the horse auction this week.” I thought about that as I told the bartender to put our drinks on my tab and started to drag tonight’s fun out the door.
