He has the sense to realize that Samantha needs time to feel comfortable around him and his family and I was pleasantly surprised at the patience he showed while learning to court the lady; patience that was ultimately rewarded with some amazingly hot scenes. Samantha’s warm and affable on the outside, but obviously fights an inner turmoil. I was drawn in to these characters’ developing relationship. I wanted to learn all about Samantha’s past and hoped that Ryan could find the maturity to keep hold of such an endearing woman. There were always going to be ups and downs to Ryan and Samantha’s relationship, but it was a joy to read the climax of their story.
