He pulled into the covered parking garage and left the top down. He walked to the doors of Children's and up to the mezzanine level. At the upper level, he looked down to the trams on the lower level. It was then he saw her. She stood there with a young boy. The child held her hand while they waited. He knew it was her. Tyler thought to yell across the mezzanine, but paused while he questioned his own sanity. Is this Journey? He began to walk back to the stairs, then came to the edge and looked back down. The tram doors opened and she was gone.

Justin pulled at Journey's hand. "Mom, can't we get me a toy? I really want a toy."

Journey leaned down to him. "We can't this time. I need to get back to work. Grandma will pick you up at my office."

The tram opened near the parking garage. Journey and Justin walked across the covered garage toward her car. She slowed, then stopped when they neared Tyler's convertible. Her heart began to pulse. She stared at the car.

"What is it, Mommy?' Justin asked.

Journey stared for a moment longer and then walked again. "Nothing, I just knew someone who owned a car just like that one."

Tyler ran down the stairs to the trams. He dashed back and forth, waiting for them to return. He raced back to the elevators and to Jake's office. He rushed inside and barged into Jake's examination room.

Jake gave a startled look. "Tyler, I'll be done in a minute."

"Jake you won't believe what just happened."

Jake smiled to his patient, then looked back to Tyler. "I'm kind of busy. Can you wait in my office?"

Tyler realized his mistake and closed the door. He walked to Jake's office.

A few minutes later Jake entered. "I know you're excited to take this road trip, but you can't be scaring my patients like that."

"I saw her!"

"Her, who?"

"She got on the tram."

"She, who, got on the tram?"

Tyler waved his arms. "She must have had an appointment. Do you have any women patients with small children?"

Jake laughed. "Tyler I'm a pediatrician, you just described every one of my patients."

Tyler stopped. "I guess I should slow down?"

Jake pulled over a chair and Tyler sat down. "Start over."

Tyler took a deep breath. "Just before I was shipped off to Desert Storm, I met this girl."

"I know."

"I fell in love with her. When I was injured, I lost my memory of her." He looked at Jake with tears rolling down his cheeks. "I tried to find her, but my mind was blank. I eventually convinced myself she wasn't real. In some ways, she wasn't real. But just ten minutes ago, I saw her. It all came back to me the second I saw her face. It was her."

"The girl you met years ago?"

"Yes, her name is Journey."

Jake thought for a moment. "Was your Journey wearing a blue outfit and had a small boy with curly brown hair about this tall?"

"Yes."

"Unbelievable," Jake blurted. "All these years and I knew her."

Tyler stared. "All these years what, Jake?"

"I know your Journey. She's one of my patients."

"You got to tell me where she lives. You got to."

Jake stood. "Tyler, it's not that simple. There are laws to protect a patient's privacy. I can't just give you her phone number."

"Please, Jake. I have to see her," Tyler pleaded.

"I'll tell you what. I'll call her and ask if she can come back to my office. You can meet her here. Then you're on your own."
