A single tear slid down her wrinkled cheek. She grabbed the picture beside the bed and held it close. There they were, such a happy couple, embracing under the stars. He had surprised her that night with the record player and candlelit dinner. They’d danced for hours under the moonlight. He used one of those timers on his camera to take their picture. His hair had been chestnut brown back then.

Such a happy memory.
