This reviewer for one hopes that she has plans to keep the series alive for a very long time. But, just coming up with a great theme for a series isn’t enough. The characters have to be “real”, original, and multi-dimensional. The plot has to be well developed and character motivation understood. The dialogue has to be engaging and flow smoothly. I’ve read many a book where the premise was good and it had potential but it lost me on all the other elements. That hasn’t happened in any of the books I’ve read by Ms. Covington. She doesn’t just write…she creates. I spotted so many great secondary characters that just seem to be begging to have their own HEA told. The characters are real and likable and the town of Lusty is the perfect place for them all to live. The concept of a town founded by polyamorous couples is pretty unique. The author does a good job telling Kelsey's story and showing her gradual acceptance of the Benedict brothers' love. The love scenes are well plotted and extremely sensual and there is a strong element of suspense in the plot to keep things even more exciting. The subplot of the desperate mother abandoning her son really highlighted Kelsey's loss and helped her healing process.
