Author's Bio
Ever since she was a little girl, Lydia Blythe felt the call of the Lone Star State. Its wide blue skies, spunky women and stoic cowboys exerted a kind of hypnotic power over her imagination for many years. Now that she has found herself nestled safely in Texas’s dusty embrace, she divides her time equally between reading and writing—with a few moments here and there for those pesky tasks like sleeping, eating, and of course, working. Lydia can be reached at www.lydiablythesworld.blogspot.com, and on Twitter at: blythely_lydia.

Author's Profile
Q: Okay, we get it, you like cowboys. But why do you like them so much?
A: There’s nothing like the quiet strength of a man who has pitted himself against the raw power of nature or the strength of a bucking animal. I think that a true cowboy keeps some of his cards to himself, and that’s what makes them so intriguing to me—the mystery.
Q: If you had to do something besides writing, what would it be?
A: If I couldn’t write anymore, that would be a sad, sad day. I have the best job in the world! But I think it would be awesome to work in the Peace Corps, or a horse trainer, or to restore antique furniture, or to be any kind of artist, or musician, or a yoga instructor…okay, see, this is why I have to write. Because I get to live vicariously through my characters and thus experience all these things.
Q: What’s the sexiest thing about a man?
A: Believe it or not, I think a good smile is a man’s best asset. Sure, I enjoy looking at washboard abs as much as the next gal, but a good smile is forever.
Q: Do you believe in true love?
A: Absolutely. When I first met my boyfriend, I knew I had found the love of my life. Underneath it all, I am a die-hard romantic, and I love to give the gift of true love to all my characters, even if sometimes, the way they get it is a little bit unconventional.
