Seducing Their Mate (LoveXtreme)

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

Kiera West has laid the foundation for what promises to be a very entertaining serialized novel in Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska. Seducing Their Mate is a fast-paced story that grabs the reader from the first page. Eve is an original heroine both in appearance and in viewpoint. Kiera's descriptions are very thorough without slowing the story down and I found myself pulled in immediately. Her alphas are also vividly depicted and well rounded, each with their own individual personalities and flaws. I'm looking forward to learning more about each of them individually as the serial progresses. The main storyline revolving around the injure and killing of wolves in the remote Alaskan wildlife preserve is interesting and Kiera has me hooked to find out what new surprises and challenges being the mate of six wolf-shifters holds for Eve. This is a fast read, perfect for a winter's night and a story that any fan of paranormal erotic romance will be very entertained by. I enthusiastically recommend it. BUY

Heather Rainier lives and writes in South Central Texas. Her stories offer up the content of her fantasies, with autobiographical humor, triumph and tragedy mixed in. Heather's love of romance fiction began as a teenager when her mom gave her copies of Kathleen Woodiwiss's "The Flame and the Flower" and Bertrice Small's "Skye O'Malley". To this day she's pretty sure that was her mom's version of the "birds and the bees" talk. Heather writes the type of novel she loves to read: More erotic and edgy than the mainstream, with plenty of sweet romance mixed in and a happily ever after guaranteed. Heather's favorite type of hero is the gentle, lovable giant but readers will discover a wide variety of heroes and alphas on the pages of her novels, from nearly perfect to very flawed. When not happily typing at her keyboard, Heather is usually busy corralling her kids, or loving on her smokin' hot husband, who thankfully loves to cook. Three to Ride (MFM)
Title: Three to Ride (MFM)
$7.99 - Author(s): Sophie Oak
Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc.
Categories: Menage a Trois/Quatre, Western/Cowboys

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

What an fabulous beginning to Sophie Oaks 'Nights in Bliss, Colorado' series. Rachel is on the run from a very determined stalker. Max Harper has a reputation for being difficult to please and hard as nails. His twin, Rye Harper is a charmer and the town sheriff. In an inventive twist, it is Max's truly gentle side that Rachel responds to, while remaining aloof to Rye because of his position. All of it takes place in a quirky little town surrounded by the mountains of Colorado. This story had me laughing and crying, sometimes both at the same time. Friends who have read her stories tell me the same thing. Every book in this series should be an autobuy for anyone who loves erotic romance. I can't wait for the next release. BUY

Unbridled and Undone (MFM)

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

I've enjoyed Ms. Saint James three Badlands historical erotic romances, and her new contemporary series is every bit as entertaining. Unbridled and Undone will grab you from the very first sentence. Tessa is spunky and goes after what she wants. Dell and Zachary are hot and sexy and all three are endearing. Their first meeting at the DRMC was very entertaining and the love scenes are incredibly hot. Ms. Saint James writes this heat rating (sextreme) with a skill I admire. I love happily ever afters and especially enjoyed the reconciliation at the end. I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series, Unbridled and Unbroken, and curious to see what happens next at the Double Rider Men's Club. BUY

For the Love of Anna (MFMM)

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I find Ms. Dwyer's writing style very entertaining. There was great contrast between the three heroes and, and they certainly kept Anna on her toes! Ms. Dwyer is skilled at developing her characters and evoking the reader's sympathy for them. I felt awful for Anna when her father betrayed her, and could smell the foul villain's cologne right along with her. That's great storytelling! My only advice is don't start this one late at night--I was up until three a.m. because I couldn't put it down! I'm looking forward to reading more stories written by Ms. Dwyer. BUY

A Bride for Two Billionaires (MFM)

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

...“She’s the still point of the turning world, Jay. I’m not letting her go.”... Be still my pounding heart! Lola Newmar’s characters in “Bride for Two Billionaires” are very entertaining and original. I was intrigued by the conflict between Jay and Brody and wondered how it would all work out. I found their antics at Jacqueline's very entertaining and enjoyed the addition of secondary character, Jeremiah Giordano. And what girl doesn't want a guy (much less two) who will hire an entire high school marching band to serenade her first thing in the morning. Jay’s over the top efforts at trying to redeem himself with Taylor were very endearing, and I imagine every woman must fantasize what it would be like to have a man spend obscene amounts of money on her, especially when he's motivated by true love. Ms. Newmar cleverly crafted a devious, but nonetheless entertaining, villainess and (I thought) villain then surprised me in the end. I’m looking forward to her “Scarlett Rose” series starting in January. BUY

A Bride for Two Tycoons, Part 1: The Courtship (MFM)

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

This two-part book is sure to keep you giggling, weeping and panting. Ms. Mitchell and Ms. Holiday are superb storytellers, truly talented at crafting a mental image. …“Just one tug, Just one tug on the bow of her little “fuck me, please Mr. Big Bad businessman” wrap-around dress and she’d be naked. She had a thong on. He saw the indentation…” Bride for Two Tycoons is full of entertaining imagery and inner dialogue. I love a story that makes me laugh and cry and this one surely fits the bill. A favorite scene from this book has to be the fairytale-style romantic trip to the mysterious snowy destination. I'm looking forward to more from Ms. Mitchell and Ms. Holiday. BUY

Like all of Ms. Dalton’s books, Fierce Radiance is one of those books you keep to reread over and over. Her ability to build a world just staggers me. Fierce Radiance is an epic story that is immensely satisfying. From the first pages the reader is completely drawn into Aine’s world and quickly becomes attached to her, Sammuel and Ker. The love Sammuel and Ker feel for Aine is beautifully expressed and the pain and love that Aine experienced had me reading with tears in my eyes at times. Ms. Dalton’s ability at writing a hot love scene is something else I love about her books. She never fails to satisfy. As always, her secondary characters are well developed and leave you wondering about their stories as well. An added bonus in the story is Ker's brother Jor and his mate finding a little closure of their own. I didn’t want the story to end, and I hope to read more in the Space Confederation Series. BUY

Rachel

I couldn’t put this latest installment in The Cattleman’s Club Series down. Ms. Penn has written another fast-paced story with well developed characters. Rachel’s men are larger than life and so entertaining. …”a very gentle man with the heart of a warrior, and a warrior with a very gentle heart. That’s what they were”… Well put. That’s exactly what Ms. Penn demonstrated them to be. Rachel herself is so relatable, with her imperfections and insecurities. I really enjoyed the original version of this story when I read it a year ago and I’m so glad she expanded on it. I especially enjoyed the final love scene and the hot outdoor action that led up to it. Brilliantly done! Ms. Penn has set us up for surprises in the next book and I’m waiting impatiently for the next installment. BUY

Ms. Oak is quickly proving she has an amazing talent as a writer. Her heroes, Jack and Sam, are delightfully disparate and I loved reading their interplay with Abby, who is such a REAL character. Her emotions and actions are relatable and it is easy for the reader to put herself in Abby’s shoes. Jack and Sam are the perfect blend for heroes. I loved Jack’s intuitiveness and Sam’s vulnerability. And Holy Smokes! Ms. Oak knows a thing or two about writing a hot love scene! I also enjoyed her very original take on the villain. Well done, Sophie! I’m looking forward to reading more from you. BUY

Eb, Jeremiah and Maggie are such well-rounded characters, complex and unpredictable just like the wonderful storyline. Ms. Brooke is a master of the art of creating a hero that I want to smack and kiss all at the same time. These characters are challenging, entertaining and sure to please every reader. I’m so excited that she’s writing the story of the founding fathers of Desire, OK as Lana Dare and wait impatiently for the next in that series as well as the contemporary Desire, OK series. Like many readers out there, Leah Brooke’s books hold a permanent place in my e-reader. She’s a keeper and so is Untamed Desire. BUY
