I liked this story a lot. Fuzzy is just... oh, let's be careful here. He won't like being called *whispers* Fuzzy Wuzzy *end whispers*. He's just adorable, and Geoff is the man who tames this bear. This is a cute, sweet, wonderful little story about two people getting together. I highly recommend! BUY

Brats in Training 4: Training Michael (MM)

This reviewer's rating:
4 - Good

I liked this story quite a bit. It's not very long, but the personalities of Michael and PJ came through loud and clear. These two want each other very badly, but who they are gets in the way. PJ is a brat who wants to be punished. Michael is a Dom at heart, but he lacks actual experience of dominating a sub. PJ pushes and pushes until Michael takes him, but Michael has his doubts, so he calls on his Dom friends to help him out, which was a commendable move, I think. Despite how that may have sounded, there's no menage here. Just the two men. Their growing relationship is tenuous because PJ wants things Michael is seemingly not ready for, and Michael has insecurity issues that make him feel he's not cut out to be a Dom after all. Add to this an annoying woman who doesn't take no for an answer, and you have a delicious mess on your hands. This is not so much a hardcore D/s sex story as it is about two people learning to live the lifestyle together. I recommend. BUY

I was pleasantly surprised by this humorous tale of sabre-tooth bunnies and big old grizzly bears. This seductive story is verbal fireworks! I'm definitely going to be checking out the rest in the series :) Chase is just a grumpy bear who wants to be left alone, not sharing his food or honey, but Miranda is happy hopper whose giggles--and lovely form--make it impossible for Chase to resist. And a bear loves his honey! BUY

I've been waiting for Colin and Quinn's story for a while, and it was more than what I hoped for. Colin, the chef, feels like he is stalked by an invisible foe, and as accidents begin to pile up, he feels lost. Quinn, the paramedic/fireman, wants Colin safe--and for Colin to be his exclusively. Quinn is dominant and forceful and, oh, so hot, and though the man once before broke his heart, Colin can't seem to stop himself from giving in to temptation. This may be the first MM by Tatum Throne, but she has a future in this genre for sure. From the very opening scene she shows us what she's capable of. The story is fast-paced, laced with sexual tension and suspenseful action. Loved it. I highly recommend! BUY

Sparkle and Purr (MM)

Manuel, the jaguar shifter, and Davan, the fae elder, have their work cut out for them as they try to find a way through a web of lies that is partly their own doing and partly of other people's making. Whatever love and passion they feel for each other becomes a struggle as the mating spell binds them together when they don't know what is happening behind the scenes and they don't communicate as well as they should. I loved this story. These two men are so strong and real, if you can say that about fantasy creatures. They are different, but they also compliment each other. Their love story was a wonderful read, my first in the Midnight Matings series, but it won't be my last :) I recommend this! BUY

Friendly Seduction (MF)
Title: Friendly Seduction (MF)
$3.99 - Author(s): Jennifer Denys
Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc.
Categories: Contemporary

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

Ms. Denys is a tease. Her humor and her sex. This story has both. I can't remember when I've laughed so hard while reading an erotic romance. The very opening of this story is enough to tickle your fancy and your funny bone. Enacting a wide variety of seductive scenes in romance novels, Matt the sci-fi writer and Lissa his research assistant get into the groove with eager experimentation. The banter they indulge in and the raw analysis of romantic clich├ęs they "study" are a veritable feast for the senses and the imagination. Whoever said you couldn't have a novella of ninety pages with a good plot are proven wrong here. Jennifer Denys makes this story a sensual experience of two people finding surprising and arousing means past their shy attraction for each other. It's sweet and it's hot and it's funny. The humor here is at the heart of the story and of the romance as Ms. Denys walks us through the classics, such as the hero unhooking a bra, trying to carry a lady while wearing unyielding "manly clothes", and last but not least the vanishing clothes mystery. Every page is a delight. Humorous, sensual and loving. Sex has never been so sweet and so much fun. Highly recommended! BUY

$5.99 - Author(s): Simone Sinna
Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc.
Categories: Contemporary, Romantic Suspense

This reviewer's rating:
5 - Outstanding

Let's start with the most obvious. This story has lots of sex. Sizzling hot sex. One woman. More men. A strong-willed journalist heroine, Stephanie, allows herself to become a risk-taker and sexually free in her undercover role as a hostess to an enigmatic millionaire suspected of, among other things, murder - and amidst all that is the relationship of Stephanie and Gabriel, this powerful man with secrets. As Stephanie travels across the globe in pursuit of her story she discovers the kind of woman she is. There is empowerment in this story, but there is also the age old question of honesty and trust between two people who both had hidden agendas and ulterior motives. Now, to be fair, this was my first m/f romance I've ever read. I didn't expect to like it as I'm not completely or even half-way sold on the multiple men with hero/heroine in a romance story. But...the story built and built until I wanted to know what was going on beneath the surface and I had to find out what was going to happen to the heroine. And the ending delivers surprises and revelations. I can see why this book is recommended. Simone manages to bring the places and the people to life with little gestures, words, descriptions. For her first book I say good job, and keep writing more! BUY
