I carried by basket of bath things into the room. A large permanent screen hid the claw-footed tub from view.
“Anyone?” I asked hesitantly.
Not hearing an answer, I peeped around the screen. Isabella stretched like a cat. “Is my turn over?” she purred.
The steaming water only veiled her body, but did not fully hide it. I could see all the pink flesh beneath the surface. She was like a wild rose, all luscious pink and white with a golden crown at the center. Her breasts breached the surface, glowing from the bath. She rose from the tub like Venus emerging from the sea. Her nipples hardened in the cool air. She reached a languid hand for her towel then stepped from the bath. Leisurely she bent to dry herself, starting at her feet, granting me a magnificent view of the twin globes of her bottom, both dripping water from the bath.
Isabella took her time, drying first one shapely leg and then the other. I watched her display in mute fascination as she tenderly drew the towel over her abdomen, caressed each breast and stroked the curve of her back. She gave me a wicked little smile before covering all that velvety, rosy skin with her dressing gown.
“Your turn, Mina.”
I felt a perfect fool clutching my towel. I was afraid for her to see me. I wasn’t ripe and lovely the way she was, but absurdly mannish. Where she was all plump and dewy, I was too long and lean, all sharp angles and hard planes. My abdomen was a flat with little muscular ridges. No matter what I did, I built muscles like a man. A lifetime of riding and walking had made my buttocks taut, like hard melons.
With a tiny smile, she turned away from me. “The water is still hot, but there is room to add more.”
I hung my dressing down on the hook, hastily shrugging off my thin chemise and pantalettes. I put a foot in the tub and hissed. The water was still steaming. Gingerly I eased in, letting the heat sink into my bones. The cares and stresses melted away under the onslaught of wet heat. I closed my eyes with the sweet bliss of it.
“Would you like me to wash your hair for you,” Isabella murmured near my ear.
