When I come across a writer who is able to deliver such lovable and dynamic characters, ferocious passion and laugh-out-loud fun, I can do no other than proclaim my love. The town of Bliss is a wonderful and endearing place. The nudists, artists and UFO nuts only add to the charm and the atmosphere of love and tolerance make me wish it were a real place. Max and Rye were sex on a stick and I suffered from an acute case of "Rachel envy". I loved Max's temper tantrums and Rye's easygoing attitude. They truly were halves of a whole. Rachel was exactly my kind of woman. She may have run for her safety, but she clearly wasn't about to take crap from anyone. She knew what her heart wanted and she went for it. After her past comes to find her again, she will have to decide whether to keep running or fight to stay with the men and the town she's come to love. Twins Max and Rye Harper have always thought that they will find one woman to love and start a family with, but life hasn't worked out that way. Max feels like he always messes up the relationships for his brother, so he decides that they will no longer share women. But when they both fall for the strong and sassy Rachel Swift, putting aside their natures is harder than they ever imagine. This book was so wonderful. The plot had a good amount of suspense and intrigue to it. And although it was erotic, it had an actual plot!  Rachel was smart and strong and the perfect woman to handle the two sexy men who want to claim her. The love scenes were steamy and erotic. There was a bit of comedy when Rye was trying to deny the fact that he wanted Rachel as well. The phrase "you're going to go blind from that" immediately comes to mind. But ultimately they come together, and it is as if things are just as they should be. The story comes to a head when the stalker from Rachel's past comes to town to hurt Rachel and her men. One of the best things about the book was the hilarious secondary characters in the town. You've got your nudists, who prefer to be called naturists; Mel, the conspiracy theorist; Stefan, the famous artist and Dom-in-residence; the Kent brothers, the sexy cowboys who also like to share and breeze into town with their sights set on Rachel; and the list goes on. In walk twins Max and Rye Harper along with the quirky yet welcoming close knit haven of Bliss. Do you like a brooding 'don’t cross me' alpha hero? If so, you’re going to love Max Harper. Max is known in the community for having quite a temper until he meets the shy and beautiful new waitress at Stella’s. Rachel has a way about her that makes Max want to not let her see him as a 'bear' but as a potential forever kind of man.
