Can having wild sex in a lift with a gorgeous stranger a bad thing? It is when that man turns out to be the CEO of the company you work for and he is the last man you want having any control over you. Being all hot naked and sexy with the CEO is not exactly a career move – especially not in public, screaming your lungs out as you come.

When Justin Hale teaches Miranda Marshall a steamy lesson about who is the boss, Miranda is more than happy to pay him back in kind. The game is on. Just how in control is the boss? Can she bring him to his knees without falling hopelessly to her own? After all, this has nothing to do with love. It’s just toe curling sex…isn’t it? And Miranda certainly does not want the whole office to know what she and Justin Hale are doing.

But someone does know. It’s the same person who has been causing chaos in the office for months. Is this person the office Robin Hood or are they out for revenge with Miranda in his sights?

Alberta, Manic Readers Reviews, 4.5/5 Stars!

"You have to love a story that begins with sex in an elevator, and ends with, well, I won’t spoil it for you but trust me, you’ll love this one... Loved Because I Can and can’t wait to read Jones’ next book."

Dianthus, Long and Short Reviews Erotic Romance, 4/5 Stars!

"I loved the suspense element of this one, and the tying in of the real life characters/situations made this book enjoyable...Amarinda Jones is a new to me author, and she's one who I'll read again in the future. If you're looking for a good romance story with some nice suspense and great, smoking hot sex, this is a book you'll definitely want to pick up."

“Well Miranda, this seems like the perfect time to get to know each other.”

Just the way he said it sent a frisson of anticipation down her spine. She had been feeling that way since she had first seen him and his ass. Getting to know this particular man could be trouble.

“So, do you want to play twenty questions to while away the time?” Suddenly she felt totally inadequate for the first time in her life and she wondered if the cosmos was paying her back for some past transgression. Sure, she had many but couldn’t the cosmos have picked a better time to teach her a lesson?

“Or, we can get right down to the question I want to know the answer to most.”

“Oh yes and what is that?” It was one of those questions Miranda knew she would regret asking as soon as it came out of her mouth.

“Have you ever had sex in a lift?”

“What?” The word exploded out of her mouth in stunned amazement. Miranda knew she was standing there gob smacked and staring but it was not the sort of question you got asked everyday. She thought maybe he would ask normal stranger question like what her favorite color was or what her star sign was. But sex in a lift? Did he mean generally or with him specifically? When he had said he wanted to get to know her she had not thought he meant in the biblical way.

“You heard me.” Justin leaned casually against the wall and looked at her.

Miranda did not need to be a rocket scientist to work out this man was a deadest flirt. Clearly he liked the fact that she was shocked at his words. It suggested he liked to tantalize the innocent and unsuspecting. Not that she was innocent but the unsuspecting bit was right. Who could have suspected this man lobbing into her life with a question like that?

“I did hear you, but I just can’t believe you’d ask a complete stranger a ridiculous question like that.” He was either completely full of himself or he sensed she was open to the suggestion. This both alarmed and excited her. Did she look like some wanton slut? Could she even seriously consider having sex with a gorgeous stranger in a lift? And why was she even pondering such a question? Maybe she was a wanton slut. Was this Candid Camera? Was she being set up to look stupid on national television? Reality shows had their place, however Miranda did not want to be a part of one.

Are we strangers Miranda? I saw you looking at my butt in the reflection of the window.”

How did she answer that without looking like she was lying or on heat? With a lie of course.

“I was not!” It was really more of a pathetic denial than a lie but it was the best she could come up with.

“I didn’t mind. I was staring at your breasts. You have great breasts.”

“You are a pig!” Miranda crossed her arms over her breasts and even as she did, she could feel the nipples hardening and she knew her treacherous body was not at all disgusted at his words. Was it getting hot in here or what?

“But I am a pig you are attracted to.”

Miranda would have liked to deny that she was attracted to him but they both knew about her dishonorable intentions towards his butt.

“You believe in plain speaking don’t you?” Miranda did too but there was a time and place for everything but she believed a cramped lift was not conducive to the activity he suggested

“What’s the problem, Miranda? You can ogle me but I can’t ogle back?” Justin pushed off from the wall and moved toward her.

Uh oh, this was bad. The predator approached.
