At the edge of the town, a small sign displayed its name proudly in gold. Another ten minutes and buildings came into view as he turned on the main street of Blue Rock.

His eyes surveyed the dark closed places. Glancing at the clock, it showed 24:45. Only some places had lights on: the Enforcer’s office, the local medical center, the general store, and two restaurants. He pulled the transport into a parking space in front of the Proffit General Store.

The snow-covered walkway was covered in the footprints of parents with their littles from the day. It appeared to be a busy town even if kept in solitude.

The store appeared smaller from the front as he opened the door then stepped inside. The old wood floor creaked under his feet, and the aisles were restricting with their antique wooden shelves.

“We close in fifteen minutes,” the man said from behind the single checkout counter. His shirt had the name “Frank” embroidered on it. “I haven’t seen you in here before. Are you the one with that fancy house on tracks that drove through earlier?”

“Yes.” He picked up the carry basket and started down the long aisle.

“If you want, I can start an account for you.” The man came from behind the counter and toward him then stopped.

“No.” He inspected the items on the shelves while getting a few canned goods safe to eat on his diet. The supply of safe foods was few on most shelves. When he came to the aisle with dried noodles, he found only one pack of rice noodles left. As he reached for it, another hand touched his. Deep brown eyes stared at him, and he became lost in their gaze.

“I need those.” She didn’t let go and gently pulled them from his hand.

He let go of the last package as his eyes wandered to her carry basket. Most of her basket was empty except for the noodles, some bouillon cubes, and spices.

“They don’t have much here if you’re on a special diet.” She glanced at his basket before looking up again.

“I’m finding that out.” He moved his basket aside as she walked by him in the compact aisle. Her body scraped by his in their thick coats.

“Where do you shop?” he asked.

“Here.” She smiled, walking toward the next aisle of frozen foods.

He turned the corner and ran into the transparent door she had opened.

“I’m sorry.” She placed the bag of frozen broccoli in her basket then closed the door.

“I’ll be all right.” He held his nose a moment then checked for blood. “It didn’t hurt much.” He went in the case and got the same.

“I doubt that.” She carefully opened the next case’s door and got out more frozen vegetables in bags. This time, she grabbed two of each and tossed one into his basket. “Have you eaten yet?” she asked.

“No, I don’t remember eating all day.” He shook his head. “Where’s a good place to get something, or has everything closed?”

“The Orient place is safe here but closed already. I wouldn’t go to the transport stop. They stay open for the long hauls and nothing is GF, except the coffee or tea.” She spun, walked backward then flipped her hair out of her face. “I know of another place that has safe food.” She smiled.

“How about going there?” He couldn’t believe he had just asked that of her. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have asked that.”

“Then why did you?” She swayed slowly in front of him, keeping her basket between them.

“I guess because—I don’t know.” He squeezed by her and took his basket to the checkout. While he unloaded his things, she came up behind him.

“You’re new here, aren’t you?” She placed her things on the counter to be next. “I used to live here. I live at the hotel for now.”

“Should’ve stayed gone, whore,” the man said loud enough to be heard.

She stared at him a moment before dropping her basket and running out.

He inserted the credit stick then looked out the windows for her. She was gone. “I’ll take her things too,” he said.

“Filth is all she is. She should freeze.” The older man scanned and bagged her items in such a rush he placed some in without scanning them.

Ciar picked up the four canvas bags and walked out to his transport. She was a good distance away. Once in, he drove up next to her and rolled down the passenger side window.

“Hey, want a lift? I’ve got your food too,” he said. She increased her pace.

“Keep it.” She walked toward a worn path through the woods.

“Wait.” He stopped the transport and got out. “Wait.” He grabbed her by the arm and watched her turn toward him, ready to strike. But she didn’t. The tears on her face showed she was in for it in this small town. He opened his arms and let her decide. When she came to him, he loosely hugged her.

He rose, picked up the robe then went to her. He shook out the robe and placed it around her as he embraced her, resting his head against hers. “I would trade my life in return for our time so far,” he said then gently kissed her lips.

“I’ve destroyed you,” she said, interrupting the kiss.

“No, you’ve freed me.” He stared into those eyes and watched her iris change color to that deep midnight blue that sparkled with flecks of gold.

Ciar sat across from her on the futon as they ate and listened to some slightly sexy and soft music. When her waffle dripped cream on her chest, he smiled and set his waffle on the end table.

“I’ll get a cloth,” she said. Then she stopped as he moved closer. He leaned over her then licked the cream from between her breasts. His lips kissed her as his tongue flicked over her skin. When his lips touched her right breast and found the nipple heat rushed through her. His fingers mimicked his lips until both breasts had swelled and her nipples were so erect they throbbed. She watched as he pulled away but pushed her legs off the futon. His strong hands grasped her thighs as he slid from the futon to kneel between them. His lips moved and kissed on her hairy down. As his breath touched her outer folds, she gasped. The coolness mixed with her moist heat caused a shiver.

She watched him gaze at her femaleness surrounded by her soft down then glance up. When his lips touched her upper clit, it sent waves through her. As his tongue gently tasted her for the first time, she arched to him. His mouth moved lower to her clits on each side of her vagina. They lengthened at his touch. The softness of his tongue against her most tender parts created unusual sensations. Never had she had anyone show her this affection. She moaned louder as his tongue dipped into her. When he pulled away, it startled her.

He knelt, retrieved the item from his pocket and held it in his hand as he quickly unfastened his robe then pushed it off. He looked into her eyes as he moved closer with his erect cock so stiff it pointed at her.

It touched her folds in his search before finding her slick entrance. She moaned as the tip penetrated her. Then she stroked his chest and arms as he pushed farther into her, not stopping until she felt his body pressed against hers in the joining. She felt his hands move to her neck then the warmth of something new there as he left something. The necklace was as unexpected as his actions. She smiled as he kissed her then began slowly thrusting with his hips.

Edyn hadn’t known these feelings would be this unsettling. He felt far larger than anyone she had ever joined with before, but she knew he wasn’t. He was her world at this moment. As she watched him moving his hips, feeling his coolness thrusting inside her, time seemed to stop. His hips slammed into her faster as his orgasm came closer. The clapping of their bodies together was an erotic sound she enjoyed. She gripped him with her thighs, pulling him to her and stopping his frantic pace. Moving her muscles, she milked him slowly until she sensed his coolness shooting into her. When she stopped, her body kept going and she sighed.

He gazed up at her wearing the necklace and smiled.

“You surprised me by your actions.” She pulled him forward to lie on her.

“I wanted you so much, everything seemed right,” he said. “Are you all right?” he asked, seeing her eyes looking away from his.

“Delighted.” She sensed his limp cock lose its erection and released him. “No one had ever shown me that kind of affection.”

“I didn’t know whether I could.” He moved to recline next to her on the futon. “I didn’t know you would be so hairy there.”

“I’m not between the folds or over my labia as much.”

“When I kissed you and tasted you, I almost couldn’t stop.” He pulled his cock from her as it became limp.

“You didn’t have to, you could have made me climax that way.”

“Should I now? I know you didn’t…”

“No, I did.” She gazed out at the falling snow through the opposite window. “Thank you for the necklace. I can’t see it right now, but I’ll always wear it.”
