Tommy needs a man, but what sort, he has no idea. He knows he’s bored of one-night stands and he’s lonely, but what type of guy can handle him? And will any of them bother to look beneath the blond exterior to the heart beating beneath?

Ben has ticked off most things on his list. His company is doing well, he’s physically fit, and money isn’t a problem, but he’s still looking for that elusive thing—his perfect man.

Two men looking for love in the wrong places may have just found their perfect match.

Tommy gulped. “I’m not used to trusting anyone, or being close to anyone. I don’t know how to act.”

“Well, how about you ask me?”

Tommy nodded and whispered this time. “What should I have done, Ben?”

“You should have come with me, held my hand, sat on my lap, and let me adore you. And you most certainly should not have gone off to the bathroom with some guy. If you don’t want me, you just say the words, Tommy.”

He grabbed hold of Ben’s arm. “No, I do. I’m sorry. I didn’t think. I’m just… I didn’t mean to hurt you, and I won’t do it again.”

His throat ached from trying to talk through the tears, but it was getting easier and Ben was beginning to hum. He didn’t want to lose this guy by being an idiot, and he had been.

“I’m sorry, Ben.”

"Good boy. I see what you show everyone else, but it's not you. I see the real you. The one you try to hide away."

Tommy gasped as Ben’s hands turned him around. He swallowed with difficulty before asking, "Yeah, so what do you see?"

Bear lifted his head and stared into Tommy’s eyes. "I see a boy who forgot that he’s mine."

Oh, thank you. I haven’t lost him yet.

Those stupid tears threatened again, so Tommy tilted his head back, exposing more of his neck to Ben, and his lover didn’t disappoint, sucking the tender skin hard, marking him for all to see.

“You should have come here with me,” Ben growled against his skin.

Tommy nodded and closed his eyes. Yeah, he should have. He’d been trying to prove how independent he was, and instead he’d just insulted the one guy in the world he thought might be able to handle him.

Ben’s hands found his shirt and he tore at it. The buttons went flying across the room as he ripped it open.

“What the fuck?” Tommy gasped as he looked down at his bare chest, the nipples peaked. What the hell had he done that for? What was he suppose to wear now?

“Now, we’re going to say goodnight to our hosts and we’re going home so I can remind you exactly who you belong to.”

Ben’s voice dropped that half octave that made Tommy’s knees weaken and his belly churn with desire. He wanted to drop to his knees and worship this man, his submissive side making a bid for some attention. Pushing that aside for the moment when they were home, Tommy swallowed, his cock so hard now that it was trying its best to pop the fly on his jeans.

“Like this?” He indicated his shirt as he asked the question, already knowing the answer. Ben had done that on purpose, a public statement of his ownership.

Ben smiled wickedly, all beautiful white teeth as he un-tucked the rest of Tommy’s shirt so it sat a little better on him.

“Oh yes. I don’t want there to be any doubt that you are spoken for. Every man at this party will be clear on the fact that you, my boy, are mine.”
