One kiss tore them apart. Will a second bring them back together?

Knox Townsend can hardly believe it when he walks into Playgroundz Café to find his old high school crush, Trevor Channing, working the cash register. Once upon a time, the two shared a smoldering, passionate kiss while their prom dates were passed out ... and never spoke of it again. Now Knox is back in town for the next week to upgrade the café’s coffee machines. But the only thing he really wants to upgrade are his feelings for Trevor, long simmering and now reignited. This time, hopefully for good!

Trevor hasn’t seen Knox since he left town right after graduation without so much as a backward glance. Suddenly he’s Trevor’s boss and staying at the same hotel where they’d shared their first, and only, kiss. One of the front desk clerks is Trevor’s regular customer and, for a few gift cards, Trevor checks into the room next door to Knox’s. The room with the adjoining doors he plans to keep unlocked all week, just in case!

“What took you so long?” Trevor croaked, still propped atop the queen size mattress like a trophy to be won.

“Do you want to truth? Or the whole truth?”

Trevor chuckled. “The whole truth, obviously.”

Knox drifted closer at last, those long legs stalking across the unsightly shag carpet beneath his bare feet like a panther stalking his prey. “Well, I didn’t want to get too, uh ... excited, too fast, just in case anything happened so ... I might have jerked off a couple of times.”

Trevor’s mind was on sensory overload, imagining his boy crush jerking off in the very next room and not even inviting him over to watch. The nerve!

“A couple?” he blurted, personally offended.

Knox merely shrugged, wearing a shit eating grin for the ages. “You said you wanted the whole truth.”

“The whole truth as in you watched a movie or something, not pleasured yourself raw you dirty horn dog.”

“I mean, a dirty movie, sure, but ... what? You’re telling me you’ve just been lying there, with that big, slim hardon stretching the sheets this whole time?”

“That’s exactly what I’m telling you, perv!”

Knox had inched closer, almost to the foot of the bed by now. Close enough, at least, for Trevor to see the pattern on his boxers. “Nice skivvies, Knox.”

Knox’s blush was as beautiful as the rest of him, ruddy and aglow and charming. “Yeah, they were the best the gift shop had to offer, so ...”

“Come closer,” Trevor croaked, extending a tentative hand.

“Trev, I ...” Knox stayed put, as if forgetting why he came in the first place.

“Zip it, Knox. My room, my rules, now ... just a little closer ...”

He heard Knox swallow as, gently, his feet whispered on the ugly orange carpet. Trevor was propped gently up against the headboard atop a pile of lumpy white pillows, cock still hard as a wrought iron fence post and tender as pounded veal. Knox crept closer until Trevor could see the cheesy dog on a surfboard print on his baggy blue boxer shorts.

“Did you lose your luggage or something?” he teased through constricted vocal cords, two fingers tentatively toying with the soft, clingy fabric as he watched Knox’s belly flutter just above the sagging waistband.

“No, I just ... I guess I wanted a few souvenirs of my time here, you know?”

“Come closer, Knox, and I’ll give you something you’ll never forget.”

“Trevor, stop. What ... what’s gotten into you?”

He sat slightly up, the single white sheet that barely covered him drifting down across his own trembling belly. He wasn’t a confident person, not in the least. Not cocky, not bold, and certainly not forward. But something about being with Knox again, something about having him back in town after thinking he’d never see him again, had him almost desperate to engage ... before it was too late. “I’m not sure, Knox. Do you want me to stop? Do you want me to leave? Do you want me to go back to being my old self, quiet and missing opportunities left and right? Because ... because ... even if you do, I’m not sure I can turn back now. Not with you so close to me. Not with you here, in my room, in this stupid, crummy hotel where it all started and --”

Knox kissed him then. Harder this time, harder than the first time. Harder and faster and hotter than he’d ever been kissed before, which wasn’t saying much, but ... still. Trevor squirmed and murmured and struggled for breath, as desperate for release as he was to drown in Knox’s sudden, spontaneous embrace. At last Knox released him, standing upright with a slick, satisfied smile.

“I told you I’m tired of talking,” he murmured, dragging a long, tender finger along Trevor’s lips as if to prove it. Trevor opened his mouth dutifully, dragging Knox’s long, tender finger inside the sweltering heat of his desperate, craven mouth.
