I grew up in New Jersey, a short drive outside of Manhattan. I was a busy kid, always somewhere doing something. Dance, gymnastics, swimming, you name it. Yes, I was one of those kids who didn't come home until it was dinner time, played with friends on the street, rode bikes like it was going out of style. My best friend and I used to "produce" our own movies and play wizards and witches on the playground at school. I've always had an imagination that ran wild, and when I was in my pre-teens, I finally put all those outlandish ideas packed in my head to good use. I started writing stories, horror/thriller stories, when I was eleven. Romance wasn't even a consideration until I was in my early twenties. When I made the cross from horror to romance, I discovered exactly what I should have been writing all along, and I've been writing romance ever since.

Now, I live in Florida with my husband and our two children. I write everyday, as much as time allows. My ultimate goal is to write full-time, and I'm hoping there will come a day when I can make that transition to obtain my dream.

Q: What inspired you to write M/M romance?

A: An idea. That’s really all it took. I’ve touched on M/M relationships in other books, but they were still ménage. I came up with the idea for this series, and I ran with it. Actually, it ran with me, and I’m so glad it did.

Q: In your opinion, is M/M romance different from a ménage or traditional romance?

A: Well, aside of the obvious, the romance is not. To me, love is love, whether it’s shared between a male and a female, multiple partners, or male-male partners. There’s always a story behind each and every romance, but in the end, love is love.

Q: Do you work on multiple stories at once?

A: I try to focus on one at a time, but I’m usually juggling two to three different stories, all different genres or partnering. There’s never down time with my muse, and I’m thankful for that.

Q: What is your greatest distraction while writing?

A: Uhh, well, aside from kids and pets? Must I really answer this *laughing*? Social media and reading.

Q: What are some “must haves” when you are writing?

A: Necessities? Well, I always have a bottle of water at my desk, and usually some tea. If it's been one of "those" days, a glass of wine. But, I’ll admit, I’m a raging unsalted pretzel addict and I must have a bag in the house at all times. They are an easy, and delicious snack.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not writing?

A: Easy. Spend time with the family.

Q: What is a characteristic of yourself that people might find hard to believe?

A: Oh, wow. I’m an introvert to the core, something just about everyone will argue with me on. I tend to be very quiet around people I don’t know, more of an observer. Huge crowds make me super self-conscious, and they drain me of energy. However, I love putting together parties and hosting gatherings, as long as they’re on a smaller scale.

Q: What is one piece of advice you can offer aspiring writers?

A: One piece of advice? Only one? Ahh, well from personal experience, never say never. Don’t create self-imposed boundaries to your creativity. Let yourself flourish and explore this wondrous world of writing. Challenge your comfort level. You might be happier once you have.
