"I am not Perverted. I am a Depraved Sensualist. There is a difference!"

I am an Erotic Romance and ManLove author. A huge fan of all things male; I watch, read and drool over everything to do with them. Yes, I am a little perverted, yet in a good way. I have a vast Yaoi collection, and spend my time fantasizing about steamy scenes of male love, sensual encounters, and so much more.

With a little encouragement I eventually put pen to paper and wrote my first ever MM romance, Denial (The Unrequited Trilogy #1), which was published in Sept 2014 by Siren Publishing Inc. Now I take great pride in sharing my erotic stories of forbidden lust and enchanted romance with all of you, my fellow depraved sensualists.

A true Irish lass born and raised I come from a small town in Northern Ireland called Derry, where I now live with my handsome (French) hubby and gorgeous family. I'm a full time mum of three, and believe me when I say they keep me busy. I spend my days chasing after my lil darlings, my nights lost in Yaoi, and thanks to my amazing husband I spend my weekends writing up a storm.

Q: Have you always wanted to be an author?

A: To be completely honest, no. I have only taken an interest in writing in the past few years. I have always loved to read, would devour a complete series within a week in fact, but never saw myself as an author. It wasn’t until I entered, and won, an erotic writing contest a few years ago that a friend of mine pushed me to give it a go. I surprised myself when I finished my first novella, and I love my friend for all her encouragement and support in helping me find my inner writer.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

A: My unhealthy addiction to man love! I am obsessed, seriously, so it doesn’t take much to get my imagination going. When I sat down to write my first book I had someone very close to me in mind, my cousin and his husband. Their relationship was like a romance novel in my eyes. They had the whole will-they-won’t-they thing going on, keeping me in suspense until the day they finally married in an amazing forties style bash. Their bond and love is so deep, and I love seeing it, and that is what inspired me to writeDenial. Now all it takes is a sweet song, or a beautiful image of two lovers in an embrace to set me off, yet deep down I always have my cousin’s at heart.

Q: Which genre do you prefer to write?

A: It has to be erotica and M/M romance hands down. I have a well-known obsession for all things male, I have always found books about man love more sensual and erotic than any other. It was once my horny housewife secret, but now I can’t stop myself from telling people how great it is. It’s why I enjoy writing it. It doesn’t mean I will never give any other genre a try, I do love to read a good paranormal romance, so watch this space to see what I have to offer in the future.

Q: What kind of books did you enjoy reading when you were younger?

A: I didn’t really read much when I was younger, I was a runner, always outdoors. It wasn’t until I was in my late teens that I took an interest in reading, and the first book I read was a paranormal romance by one of my favourite authors, Felicity Heaton. I devoured her Vampires Realm series – discovering my book boyfriend Winter! Through stalking Felicity I found Kallysten, my girl crush, author of some very sexy M/M and ménage stories. This was the beginning of my paranormal/erotic/M/M romance obsession.

Q: Who is your favorite author?

A: There are several amazing authors out there who have claimed my attention at one time or another. Felicity Heaton and Kallysten would be two of my favourites, followed closely by Sylvia Day, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, James Wood, Lara Adrian, and Alexis Morgan. As you can tell the genres vary from paranormal to BDSM, M/M, and erotica. I’d read anything really, as long as it feeds my huge imagination.

Q: What do you do in your free time?

A: I spend a majority of my time running after my lil' demons. I am a full time mum to two hyper boys, and they know how to keep me busy. They drive me insane, yet they are my whole world!

On the rare occasion I get some alone time I spend it either writing up a storm, nose deep in a book, or watching anime. I love Japanese culture, so maybe one day I’ll get the chance to take a trip out there to feed another of my addictions.

Q: Chocolate or caramel, which do you prefer?

A: What a foolish question! It has to be chocolate every time – white, milk, dark… with ice-cream, a hot cuppa, a crepe, on candy, or melted over fresh strawberries. And on the odd cheeky occasion even covering my handsome hubby! Yum!

Q: Tell us five things about yourself not many people would know.

A: hmmmm five things, okay...

1. I am a qualified psychiatric nurse. I started working in healthcare when I was sixteen, and fell in love with the work and the people.

2. I lived in France with my sexy Frenchman before starting our family. It’s a beautiful place, and maybe one day we’ll return there to retire.

3. I’m a very dominant woman… to quote a certain singer; “whips and chains excite me!” And that is all I shall say on the matter.

4. I HATE the feel of velvet. Barf! It makes my damn skin crawl.

5. I spend more time in my fleecy pyjamas than I do dressed. Lady of comfort me!
