Autumn Wynn

Average Rating:

Autumn lives in northeastern Pennsylvania in the town she grew up in. She's been writing ever since high school when she first read a book that made her throw it against a wall and say, “I can write better than that!” She has two different Kindles, one for her erotic fiction and one for everything else. She likes her tea leaves loose, her music loud, and her men with a sharp sense of humor.

Q: What first got you interested in erotic romance?

A: A lot of really fantastic fanfiction in a number of different fandoms, even ones I didn't follow.

Q: What do you like to read when you're not reading erotic fiction?

A: I like to try a little bit of everything, but my favorite genres are romance, history, comic books, and true crime. I'll give anything a try once, though. You never know when you might find something new to like.

Q: What's your writing process like?

A: I'm a little bit all over the place, to be honest. I don't write at any set time of day or for any number of hours. I work on whatever comes to mind, whenever it comes to mind. I always have multiple projects going on, so if one isn't working at the moment, I just switch to another so that I'm always writing. Even when I'm blocked, I'm writing story notes or making character outlines or coming up with new ideas. Most of the time, I get my writing done at night, because even though I have my headphones in and my music loud, everything outside is nice and quiet. As long as I have something sweet to snack on, one of my favorite drinks, and a nice comfy chair, I can write for hours without interruption.

Q: What's one thing you're most proud of when it comes to your writing?

A: I'm most proud of my characters and my dialogue. I read my stories aloud and act them out to make sure they sound and feel right, and I think it shows in the people I create and the words they say.

Q: What do you like most about writing romance?

A: I have so much fun writing erotic romance. I've written a lot of different things, but I've read so much erotic fiction that I feel very relaxed writing it. Even when it's very serious, I'm having a total blast.

Q: What is the one thing you would want your readers to know about you?

A: I write the sort of books I want to read, and I can only hope that they want to read them too.
