There’s a storm coming, and it’s going to be a big one. When Rob sees a handsome stranger walking along the edge of a quiet country road, he feels duty-bound to stop and offer assistance. Duke won’t be able to make it into town before the storm hits. Since Rob lives alone, he invites Duke to stay the night at his place. In the morning, they’ll head into town.

The simple invitation is made out of good old-fashioned country hospitality, yet it will change Rob’s life forever. In the next twenty-four hours he will experience more emotions than he has in the past twenty-four years, culminating in a discovery that will blow his mind.

Whether we believe in something or not, sometimes the evidence compels us to consider the unimaginable.

Rob glanced at the kitchen clock. It was six o’clock. “You hungry?” he asked, making sure he stayed behind the kitchen counter where Duke couldn’t see his excited state.

“Damned hungry,” said Duke making a move to join Rob. “What can I do?”

“You stay right where you are.” Rob went to the fridge and got out a large pot. “Made this beef and veggie broth yesterday. Should be tastier now it’s had time to sit.” He lit the stove and put the broth on to heat. “Got some nice bread from town this afternoon. And I think ...” He returned to the fridge and opened the door. “... that there’s still some apple pie left over. You like it with cream or ice cream?”

Duke smiled, his moustache hiding his top lip. “Cream,” he replied with a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Rob’s cock twitched. “Cream it is.”

He turned the oven down low and put the pie dish on the middle rack. “That should be nice and hot by the time we’ve finished our broth. I’ll just get the bread. Toast it a little.”

Duke walked around behind the counter. “I want to do something,” he said. “I feel kind of useless over there watching you do everything.”

Rob noticed Duke glance down at the erection in his jeans and he took the opportunity to investigate Duke’s crotch. It seemed he was just as excited. Neither of them made comment.

“Where are the bowls?” asked Duke.

“Cupboard next to the drawers,” Rob replied.

Duke bent down and retrieved four bowls. His jeans, at the back rode down a little, offering Rob a tantalising glimpse of his hairy ass crack. Again his cock twitched and it was all he could do to keep his mind on the dinner preparations.

“Two for the broth and two for dessert,” said Duke, placing them on the counter. He returned to the drawers. “Spoons in here?”

Rob nodded. “And grab a butter knife.”

Duke got the cutlery while Rob took the bread, which was only slightly toasted, from the oven.

“Thanks,” he said. “I think we’re just about ready to rock and roll. If you wanna take the bread and butter, and the spoons over to the table, I’ll get the broth.”

During dinner Rob and Duke each asked some questions, answered some questions and the conversation flowed smoothly. After dinner, Duke got up and picked up his empty bowl.

“You sit there. I’ll get dessert. It’s the least I can do,” he said.

Rob shrugged his shoulders. “Okay. No complaints here.”

Duke leaned over and collected Rob’s empty bowl. Rob leaned back only a little. He could smell the mild scent of soap on Rob’s skin and the outdoorsy smell on his clothes. When Duke went to turn, Rob felt Duke’s cock brush against his arm. Not knowing whether it had been accidental or not excited Rob. Safe in the knowledge Duke was behind him, getting dessert, he gave his cock a couple of rubs. It had been a while since he’d jerked off and even longer since he’d had real sex with a man. It was all he could do not to take his cock out and demand Duke suck it right then and there.

“Here you go, boss,” said Duke. “Hot pie and cream.”

“I could get used to service like this.” And he wasn’t joking.

When dinner was finished and the dishes done, Rob poured them each a port and they went into the living room to enjoy the heat of the fire.

Rob raised his glass. “Here’s cheers.”

Duke lifted his glass and took a sip. “Nice,” he said. “You know, I wonder if the old town has changed much. Probably not.”

Rob swallowed a mouthful of port. “You been here before?”

“Yeah, Rob. I grew up here.”
