Average Rating:

I live in the North East with my fiancé and our German Shepherd Jerry who I love to spoil. Although I have been passionate about reading since I was a teenager, it has only been within the last year that I started writing. Reading and writing are two of my favourite things to do, I also love movies. I love going out with the girls shopping or for drinks but I also love snuggling on the sofa with my other half, especially in winter with a glass of wine and a good film. I have worked in the care industry for many years now and although I still love the job, I find myself imagining stories while there. Thankfully, I haven’t caused an accident yet lol.

Q: How long do you write a day?

A: I try to write at least once a day. Sometimes it could only be for an hour or so, but when I have an idea I could be typing away for hours. Six hours is the longest I wrote in one go without stopping. When I work long shifts, I can’t always write, but when an idea comes to my mind, I find the nearest pen and paper and jot notes down. My work colleagues are forever finding my notes throughout the building.

Q: What do you do for fun?

A: Apart from reading and writing, I love watching movies, shopping and, though most people consider it boring, I love playing board games. I also love taking my dog out for walks. Cooking is a great joy for me and I love creating new dishes to test on family and friends.

Q: What types of books do you like to read?

A: I love most books from historic to autobiographies but I have to admit, paranormal romances are my favourite. I get sucked into the story so much that if something sad happens, you will find me blubbering away with a box of tissues. I also love reading BDSM and ménage.

Q: What is your favourite thing about writing?

A: It would have to be creating the relationship between the characters. Watching them grow and bond with each other. Also I love to escape into the book, into the area, the people and the story.

Q: Do you have any type of routine while writing?

A: I wouldn’t say routine, but there are a few things that have to happen while I’m writing. The first is coffee. I will be getting the next cup ready five minutes after the first. I also need snacks while writing, chips and candy. I like peace and quiet while I’m writing and have often thrown whatever is close at hand at my other half when he comes into the dining room where I write and distracts me.
