Real good but sad. Rejection is never easy but I think realizing you've made a big mistake and not sure how to fix it is worse. No one ever wants to hear it but sometimes all you can do it wait to see what happens next. Maybe you'll get a second chance and maybe you won't. Allan's anger got him into this mess now it's a question of will his patience get him out?

Wasn't sure I would like this one based on the title. But I did!

This book needed to be longer and explore these characters a bit more. We never did get to really feel how Alan dealt with being convicted of a crime he didn't commit. We also never really got to see these two guys explore their world. This book felt like a departure for Ms Hagen. The shifter part of the characters was really understated, I thought it was not needed. A really welcome part was the fact that neither character was wealthy. Both were struggling to get by. A gyro from a street vendor was a treat. Far too many of the para-normal books suffer because the shifters are rich beyond imagination. It was nice to read one where they were just two guys falling in love. I wanted to get to know these guys better and wished it had been longer.

I loved this short story! Sasha was adorable, and Stella was a hoot. When Alan finally gets his act together, he's such a sweet man. Love the new Tasty Teasers.
