This was just an amazing love story with two separate people facing different but similar challenges in life. I loved Mart and Kelly and how their story developed. If you are looking for a sweet, sexy love story with a little angst, look no further. Lesli is an amazing author. She writes in a way that makes you feel as though you can relate to her characters or that you become one with her story. Can't wait to read more from her!!

Kelly and Mart's story was really a very beautiful story. Mart reminds a lot of my husband and his love and attitude toward my son when we started dating and got married. He is a man who is not afraid of being a dad. Everyone is overcoming and raising to the challenge. On top of that the surprise twists that the story took really reached the heart. A wonderful read that you will need to bring the tissues to.

I didn't want this book to end. I love a book that teaches me... and this book definately did. It was a great story, I loved the hero and I could definately relate to the heroine: not from having a disabled child, but from being a single mom re-entering the dating scene, having an ex that is PITA, a family that is in all of my business, and all the baggage that comes with that. Ms. Richardson did a wonderful job of building the story, establishing the relationship between Mart and Denny. I loved Kelly's mom as everyone puts a bit of fun in dys-fun-ctional and I have a mom just like that. The cross-country trip was a flashback to trips my childhood and trips with my kids! Some scenes were hysterical, some were like wowza, some were a little disturbing, but everything was written with a loving touch, and I don't expect anything less from Ms. Richardson. The ending was beautiful and Ms. Richardson/Dalton is on my immediate buy list. I highly recommend this book and if I could give it more than five stars I definately would.
