A continuing story, albeit a stand alone book, that is a fun read about a hidden paranormal community and a young woman whose desire to extend her business brings her back into the lives of two brothers who have been the objects of her secret crush for years--ever since junior high school. It is a book that has more of the sense that this lady really doesn't think she has what it takes to attract two handsome shifters, especially two guys who seem immune to her. Yet there is that continuing strand of stress and mystery surrounding NormCorp and in this story that not-so-nice-guy running this outfit is father to the heroine's best friend. There are some surprises in this tale as well as some family stresses, some old prejudices that need addressing, and a community catastrophe that threatens everyone's future. A fun read--very entertaining, a good massage for the libido, and another visit with a community that is filled with more than its share of unique and interesting characters. Really well written with a very good use of language (that's not always the case, unfortunately). It's a short novel that really needs to be enjoyed by everyone who likes the paranormal genre.

Decent read. If you have a lazy Sunday afternoon and want a quickie, this would do it. The characters fall together quickly and the story line is a little....corny?....it's just there should be more to the story. But, it's a good read.

It was good and hot, but not one of my favorites in the series. It was too short and rushed. Too much time spent on the males histories and not on the growing love between the 3.
