Yet another story in the lives of the Brac Pack and their ongoing quests to find mates or friendships. I think that this one shows that you can not judge another by the way he is normally treated by those around him. And that even the toughest warrior could have a tender and protective soul.

Johnny is a sweet person who really is very smart, though his brother calls him an idiot. Diagnosed slightly retarded Johnny has been misunderstood all his life and unloved. Hawk is tough and scary but has a heart of gold and he loves his mate, Johnny. Hawk gives Johnny his heart, supports, comforts and protects him, while allowing him to become who he's meant to be. We see Johnny come out of himself and learn to have fun! The antics that Johnny and Cecil get up to are fun and make you laugh. This book is a keeper and one to re-read. I love it.

I really enjoyed this one and how the suthor touches on what can happen when a child has been sheltered and how there mental abilty can be effected from lack of human contact and positive emotions. I really enjoyed the charaters and like everyone, just fell in love with little Johnny. Wondeful addition to this series.

Johnny is a sweet, naive and incredibly smart young man who needs Hawk's strength of love in order to combat his past abuse. Hawk helps him develope into a confidant man who is able to show his true intelligence and shed the label of "retard". The overwhelming love Hawk has for Johnny is rivaled only by his extreme protectiveness, both of which, are truly inspiring.

With a mix of innocence and spice Johnny lights up a room and makes you laugh. Hawk is the protector and Johnny shows him how to love. Great book would recommend to anyone wanting to start a great series.

I love this series. This is my favorite of the first 4 books. Anyone who couldn't love Johnny has to have the coldest heart ever. It's fun to watch as this little guy totally captivates the big tough wolf commander.

I loved Maverick's and Cecil's story, I am over the moon for Hawk and Johnny's story! Maverick needed fun and love, Cecil needed strength and love. Hawk needed someone to love him without judgement and Johnny needed love and protection.....don't we all :-) Kudo's!!
