A marvelous Western historical romance set in the time of the Civil War. Once again it is a woman of strength and determination who makes stuff happen, who won't allow "fate" or chance to rob her and those she loves of the opportunity to find a future full of love and purpose. Her open heart embraces people others reject, and in the process she insures that she is surrounded by the very people she desires. A wonderful love story full of steamy love and a context that provides lovers of historical romance a colorful and rich context for a delightful story. This one is on my eReader and my favorites list! This is one that will get read repeatedly.
