Wow if I could give this book more than a 5 Star rating I totally would!!! When I started reading this book I felt a little lost because I tried to figure out who this book was about. But the further I got I liked what Ms. Dwyer did with this book and how mother and daughter would get their happily ever after. Sydney was a beautiful young woman that had a lot on her shoulders but moving to Texas was the best thing for them as a family. Her mother Stella recovered from breast cancer and what can I say about Ella but that soon she would have to grow up every quickly. There was something about Sydney that I could relate too. It was like me reading about my own life when I was growing up. I remember having to take care of my little sister after my father went to prison. I was the one that had to work because my mom was disabled and my sister was in high school. It’s hard when you live to take care of your family and totally forget about yourself about what you need. Coming to Texas was going to change her life and she was finally going to be able live her dream. Hart, Juno, Orsin and Atlas were hard men but a small beautiful brunette was going to change them forever. They loved their mother so much and they blamed their father for her heart attack. They lived near him and in all this time in Pearl they had not ever seen him but all that was going to change every soon. When Hart saw Sydney for the very first time he felt an attraction but he fought it that was until his other brothers felt was he did. Altas and Orsin were the first men who had the privilege to take her out for lunch and even a stroll to the last not to mention a kiss. This attraction that they feel is something that frightens them and they can’t help but think about the woman that broke them that made them so hard against a relationship. But Sydney was going to open their heart to not only love but maybe also forgiveness. Ella is a bright young woman but doesn’t make the right choices at least until it’s too late. Sydney is always there to take care of her little sister making sure that she doesn’t get into any trouble but this one time Ella is dug in deep. I couldn’t believe what Ella had done and to not only put her mother and sister in danger but then Matt and Jimmy. Ella needed to grow and quit flirting with every man that pays attention to her. Did she not learn from the jerks from New York? Sing Me a Song was an exceptional read! I loved this story it was full of emotions that got my heart racing. I was watching two relationships develop but what I wanted to read more about was the bonding between daughter and father. The chemistry between Sydney and her men was explosive and passionate. I love how they were able to get take care of Sydney because she was a wonderful person that deserved happiness. I totally recommend this read!!!

This book had a different pace to it. A girl relearning her family as well as learning to let go of the past in order to move forward and be happy.AT the same time the main character is attempting to embrace the possibility for love and accept her mother loving again. All at the same time there are numerous other major life changes taking place and she takes it all in stride. I love that Dixie Lynn Dwyer changes up the pace of her stories and makes you feel as though you are part of the story. This book was very heartfelt and I loved every page.

As always, Dixie Lynn Dwyer pulls together another amazing story in the Soldier of Pear series. Sydney is a young lady that moves to Pearl with her mom, Stella and her younger sister, Ella. They are all looking for a new start in Pearl. Sydney gets to meet her Dad, Matt, for the first time in Pearl. Stella is rekindling her love for Matt while Sydney starts her career in singing again. Sydney meets four Marines that are determined to win her heart. Sydney doesn't have time for romance with her singing career or at least she uses that as an excuse. Throughout the story Sydney shows her four Marines that love comes from all that will accept it. Dixie Lynn brings the story together showing that holding grudges never settles anything and you must find a way to forgive and love again or lose it all forever. Amazing story for the amazing town of Pearl.

I loved this story. Sydney is the main focus in this story got himself killed and now her mother is recovering from having cancer she handles the brunt of the burden. Her sister Ella a few years younger is wild and carefree so Sydney has two jobs, school and looking after her family she is finally ready for a change and hopes to live her dream of becoming her singer. When Sydney's real father Matt reaches out again for a start to a relationship for them they all decide to move away from the city to change their lives only little Miss Ella brings trouble with her. Sydney is finally able to relax a little then she meets four men that want to be apart of her life. A life she is afraid she will not get to lead if she lets them in her heart. Oh Ella she is another I can't wait to read about she is trouble with a capital T. I feel sorry for the men that fall for her. I also hope to read more about Stella, Matt and Jimmy and where their rekindled romance is going. All in all another great one from Dixie and who doesn't love the Town Of Pearl
