Nevada and Sophie are very understanding compared to Desah who is very snob and it takes some times for him to change his mind about seeing humans as equals. The thing is, I'm not even sure what makes him changes his mind so fast. It happens pretty fast with not much explanation. I would have liked to know more things about Desah's planet and race. For an alien race that values sex, there were very narrow-minded about it. Desah was always worrying about doing something taboo and perverse by his people's standard. We don't understand why and that bothered me. The plot had great potential, but not enough backstory for me to enjoy it.

I love sci-fi romance! This was a great story. Male with nothing to lose, two lovers willing to help. I really enjoyed the story and will be looking for more by this author!
