The King excerpt:
When Pierce entered the ornate building, he was immediately overwhelmed and impressed by all that lay before him. Pure gold statuettes stood proudly in the foyer and beyond, beautiful hand painted tapestries adorned the walls, Persian rugs were laid out on the floor, and the glasses in which the best liqueurs were served were made of the finest crystal. A very nice, very good-looking man quickly noted the patrician features of Pierce’s gorgeous face and offered him a glass of one of the establishment’s finest liqueurs. The man then escorted Pierce to a very elaborately decorated lounge where he spoke very intellectually and worldly with Pierce while his new guest enjoyed his first glass of one of the world’s finest liqueurs. When Pierce had consumed the last drop of the sweet liqueur, the man escorted Pierce to one of the many rooms of the Whirlpool. “Come, you will now enjoy the Whirlpool.” The man placed the key in the lock of the door to one of the many rooms of the Whirlpool and turned the knob. “Here is where you will enjoy your Whirlpool tonight,” the man said, and smiled brightly at Pierce. The man bowed slightly to Pierce and then left the room, locking the door behind him and locking Pierce inside the Whirlpool.

After the man had left the room, Pierce walked down the steps and into a rather large room that boasted a jungle theme, with thick foliage masked somewhat by the steam rising from the Whirlpool. Pierce could see little but the water as he looked about the room. There was a sign that read, “No Clothing Allowed.” Pierce had no problem with that. After all, Pierce had not come to the Whirlpool tonight to keep his clothes on.

All The King’s Men excerpt:
Pierce couldn’t wait to return to the Whirlpool tonight. This time he brought a friend with him, as he was encouraged to do by the personal invitation. Aidan couldn’t believe that anyone could have gotten laid as easily as Pierce had. He, too, had heard of the Whirlpool, but had never been there until tonight. “Damn, Pierce, I could have used something like this a long time ago,” he said. “Hell, yes, I’ll go.” Pierce laughed when he remembered Aidan’s response to his invitation to join him at the Whirlpool tonight.

The two young men walked into the Whirlpool the night following Pierce’s virgin visit, and Pierce was treated like royalty. “Come in, Pierce, and what a fine friend you have brought with you tonight.” The same young man who had welcomed Pierce the previous night now looked Aidan up and down, and then stared an uncomfortably long time at Aidan’s crotch. “Very nice, Pierce. Very nice.” The young man did not lead Pierce and Aidan to the lounge tonight. Instead, he led Pierce and Aidan to what he proclaimed to be a very special room. “Damn, Pierce, I could have used something like this a long time ago,” Aidan repeated.

Pierce had told Aidan about the jungle room that he had been taken to the previous night, but tonight the two of them were taken to a room which was even more sensuous and exotic. The room was decorated to resemble the great room of a palace, and adorning the walls were paintings of nude men. This room was also very ornate. This place must definitely be owned by a king, thought Pierce. It must have cost a fortune, and if there were Whirlpools around the globe, Pierce could not even begin to think of the cost of an enterprise such as that. Just as in the jungle room, a huge Whirlpool was bubbling and gurgling in the center of this room as well.
