He tries to convince her to change her mind. Propositioned by a Lady is a wonderful book. Ms. Cameron's characters were well written and believable. I loved how Lord Trout was able to move past his hurt and love Lydia openly as he tried to convince her to marry him. That love, combined with how he solved situations in a commanding way, only moved him up the hero scale. Lydia's strong resolve to change her situation made her a heroine I cheered and cried for. These two characters, along with the unraveling exciting plot, kept me quickly turning pages until the end and wishing for more." -- Jane, Coffee Time Romance
