But four months in it appears that the Dillon cousins are holding her interest almost as much as the wolves. When it appears that the cousins are interested in her also, it appears that things could get more interesting. The cousins know that she is their mate. They are unsure if she will accept all six of them, and if she does will she ever accept that they are actually weres? Once Eve lets her inhibitions go with Noah, she finds a side to herself that she never thought existed and suddenly sharing herself with more than Noah just might be a reality. Seducing Their Mate is the start of a fantastic serial story. While each book could be read alone it will feel more like a novella and you will miss a lot of the back story. I am hooked and can’t wait to see what happens in the next story The Alpha’s Fall. I think Ms. West has a fantastic realm developed and I am intrigued by all the characters as well as what Eve decides to do. 4.5 DELIGHTFUL DIVAS: "I am an instant fan of Kiera West. Seducing Their Mate (Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska 1) is a great introduction book into the series. The Great Wolves series are short stories and not stand alone reads. All of the books revolve around the same plot and I can’t wait for Ms. West to finish them all. Eve MacMillan is a scientist that is studying wolves in Alaska with the permission of the Dillon cousins. Little does she know what she is really getting into when she begins a relationship with all six of them. When an unknown enemy attacks the pack, Eve finds herself in the middle of a strange new world. I like Eve’s character. She is really down to Earth, intelligent and independent. She has a lot of personalities to contend with but seems to handle it just fine so far. Getting to know one or two men’s personality seems to be the theme for each book, so in this one we get to know Noah the best and his dominating personality. Noah is the alpha of the pack and takes his position very seriously. He is exactly what I think of when I think of tall, dark and handsome. Can you say, AHHHHHH! Ethan is the other prominent personality in this story. He is Noah’s brother and seems to have the most in common with Eve. He is another force to be reckoned with but knows his place as a beta. Shane, Max, Jason and Rand are also introduced. 4 STARS: "This book introduces readers to the great wolves of Passion, Alaska. And what a vivid and detailed introduction it is to these delicious characters! SEDUCING THEIR MATE is the beginning of a series, the first of eight short stories, to be released monthly over the next eight months. I mention this because it's important since the reader won't find a lot of story in SEDUCING THEIR MATE – just enough to introduce the characters and then to keep you reading and wanting more. I'm eager to see how this series develops because this story ends with so many unknowns. The heroine is veterinarian Eve MacMillan who has been given permission to study the wolves on an Alaskan preserve controlled by the Dillon family. Eve has been oddly attracted to Noah Dillon and his six brothers and cousins since she arrived. Coming from scientist parents who were cold and reserved, she is drawn towards the camaraderie of the Dillon family and assumes her attraction is because of that. Noah, Alpha of his pack, has known from his first phone conversation with Eve that she is likely his true mate. He grants her a one-year study and hopes in that time to convince her she belongs with them. Just when Noah makes his move on Eve, natural wolves on their land are killed and the Dillons don't know who the enemy is. The sense of insecurity pushes Noah to bring Eve under their protection as their mate and he seduces her only to quickly turn around and ask to share her with the others. I was curious just how the author was going to convince me that so many alpha lovers for one woman would work without making the story sordid. But with emotions that seemed so very real, and that incredible connection shifters have with their mates, it was easy for me to see how Eve fell in love with her mates. The unique descriptions of each of the Dillon men distinguished each one as something special to Eve. This story ends in the midst of drama. Eve has just found out that the Dillons are more than human men. I wanted to turn the page – was convinced if I tried hard enough it would work – to find out what happened. Be warned that you will absolutely have the desire to pick up the next book right away after reading this. I'm waiting anxiously to know what happens to Eve and her mates.
