This story was so much fun. The men were strong and pushy, but sweet and tender. I loved the rescue, and can't wait to read another one!

5 HEARTS: "Among the Federation of Planets, Galactic Nuptials helps find mates for those who are in situations that make it tough to find one on their own. Andon knows that his brother Tarik is gun shy after their previous attempts to gain a mate, so he secretly signs a contract with Galactic Nuptials for the Earth woman Caleigh Davis. However she thinks it's a big misunderstanding when she receives the info packet in the mail. At least until she finds out that the teenage brother she's been responsible for illegally forged her signature figuring the ninety day trial period was no big deal in the long run compared to the monetary compensation she'd receive. Caleigh, however, decides that maybe this is the change they both need and is determined to give Andon a fair chance. But what happens when she finds out that there's another brother involved and he finds out about her? This was a really good book and I'm excited to see that this is listed as the first book in the Galactic Nuptials series. I can't wait to meet more of the species and see their worlds like we did in this book. I really enjoyed the sibling interactions, almost as much as I enjoyed the developing relationship between Caleigh and her men. I liked that this wasn't just an easy love-at-first-sight book and that Ms. Martine included difficulties both between them and with things around them that affected their relationships. Overall, this was just a really well written book with characters you enjoy, a good story and some amazing sex scenes. I also really hope that one of the future books will involve Jess and her boss Tarooka Meekers who's the founder of Galactic Nuptials. I know for sure that this is a series I'm going to be watching for future books to come out!" -- Amy Hopkins, The Romance Studio

4.5 NYMPHS: "After being tricked by her brother, Caleigh agrees to become a mate for two men on a planet whose conditions are pretty harsh. Andon and Tarik have tried before, but Andon is willing to try again while Tarik has reservations. Can these three find love, despite the circumstances? Space Bride is the first book in the Galactic Nuptials series and is the first book by this author I have read. It did not disappoint me in the least. I found the story compelling and sometimes wonder if Earth were to become friendly with other planets, would these types of scenarios happen? I did enjoy the worlds that Ms. Martine created, as well as the various mating and pregnancy rituals that she explained. The characters are funny and there a few hints about the secondary characters. There is one despicable character that shows up about halfway through the book and I really enjoyed the way the author resolved the situation. I do have to say that this character was a bit of a surprise when he does show up. Both Tarik and Andon have their own quirks that Caleigh must deal with. The chemistry between Tarik, Andon and Caleigh is intense. I liked the way the author let Caleigh get to know the men before jumping into bed with them. I also liked the fact that both men were willing to have Caleigh bring her brother to live with them, as he was her family. I am looking forward to more from this author, and this series in particular." -- Amazon Nymph, Literary Nymphs Reviews

4 COUPLES: "Whenever Ms. Martine releases a book, it goes to the top of my to read pile and I was lucky to get arc of this book before Space Bride came out and I was excited to see what Ms. Martine would do as I have never read one of her sci-fi books before. Andon has decided to try to get a mate through Galactic Nuptials which offers to find mates for species living in the Federation of Planets. He decides for himself and his brother that they want to mate with an Earth woman who have only been members of the Federation for a few years. However, he has a problem with his younger brother Tarik who doesn’t want to find a mate and is disillusioned because the last two attempts to find a bride failed, so Andon makes the decision and doesn’t tell him. Tarik has a good reason to be disillusioned, he and his brother live on the planet Kilara which is one of planets that the Federation found to raise crops to help crippled Planets. Tarik and Andon are from the planet Roderia where their population is out of control and suffering a food shortage. They have been given a chance to earn the farm in the deal that is offered to all planets who participate. They have three years to successfully grow a crop that will enable them to feed their people. Sounds easy, right? Well, it not; the land they have to grow on is hard but fertile and it is tough going. The brothers are in the second year of the three year trial period and the third group from Roderia to try farming but they have been beset by problems. The planet is remote and there is only one other family in the area so they have tried to find a suitable woman for them from their home planet but the women they have brought haven’t been interested in them both which is necessary for reproduction. Caleigh is struggling to raise her younger teenage brother Kevin and pay off their debts their mother left after she died. Their father has been out of the picture for years and when Caleigh comes home to find Kevin once again mucking around she not happy. Then she finds out what he has done behind her back. He signed her up to Galactic Nuptials and filled out all the details. She furious because the company found a match, until Kevin makes her see the plus side—25,000 credits, enough to pay off their debts and she doesn’t have to mate Andon and she can get the money at the end of a 3 month trial period. So Caliegh agrees and is soon on her way to Kilara, leaving Kevin with his friend and his friend’s family. So three people are about to invade each other lives for the next three months and not all parties know about each other! Therefore when Caliegh arrives, Andon is blown away and we seer Caliegh has an interest in Andon, but when Tarilk is thrown into the mix, things between Andon and Caliegh have to slow down because of the mate bonding. The males have designated roles in reproduction and bonding. Tarilk is Kuhma, the one who produces the egg during sex, and Andon is Quha, the one who produces an enzyme during sex that helps the baby grow. Tarilk is soon impressed with Caliegh strength and determination and she has changed her mind about not going—but will it be happily ever after with ex-girlfriends and a father in the picture trying to destroy their happiness. I have to give this four couples, it was an enjoyable book and was hard to put down. I would have liked to see more of Kevin’s side of the story as he was an important character to it. Otherwise it was interesting take on the mail order bride theme." -- QueenBee, Confessions from Romaholics

STORY EXCERPT

A small white paper lying on the floor caught her attention. “Kevin!” When he didn’t answer she dropped the empty containers onto the table and started down the hall. “Kevin, get in here.”

Continued silence told her he wasn’t home. For the past six years, since her mother’s death, she’d had the responsibility of raising her younger brother. Their father had walked out before Kevin was born, and they hadn’t heard from him since. She’d given up her plans for college and settled into a receptionist’s job to support him. Taking a deep breath, she turned back toward the living room and grimaced. She was tired of coming home to chaos. The day Kevin turned eighteen she was going to make some hard decisions.

Caleigh was closing up the garbage bag when she heard the front door open. Grimly, she tied off the bag and hurried to confront her wayward sibling. She found him in the living room where he’d collapsed onto the sofa and switched on the television. Stubbornly, she walked over and turned off the movie he’d begun to watch.

“Hey, I’m watching that.”

“Did you have a party here today?” she asked.

Kevin snorted. “No, I’d hardly call having Benny over a party.”

“You told me you were going on a couple of job interviews today. What happened?”

“We went, and then we got hungry so we came here for some lunch.” He shrugged. “Nobody ever hires you the same day you apply. They always say they’ll call you.”

“I cleaned up quite a little picnic here. Who bought lunch?”

Kevin looked over at the dark television screen. “Benny treated us.”

Caleigh narrowed her eyes. “You’re lying, baby brother.” She pulled the receipt out of her pocket and threw it toward him. “You forgot to get rid of this.” Her fists clenched at her sides as she watched him grab for the small white paper. “How dare you use my credit card without asking?”

“You told me to use it if I needed it. Wasn’t that why you left it in the kitchen drawer?”

“For emergencies only, Kevin. I hardly think feeding your deadbeat friends falls into that category.” She held the credit card up in her hand. “Don’t bother to look for it again because I’m keeping it with me from now on.”

“Fine, take your damn card. I’ll get my own.”

She smirked, shaking her head. “I think you’ll find a job is a prerequisite for getting credit.” Sighing, she moved away as he turned the television back on. Ignoring him, she walked over and picked up the mail. Flipping through the envelopes her heart sank. There were so many bills and so little money. Her salary barely covered the payments and their small apartment.

She pulled one of the envelopes out that caught her eye. “Galactic Nuptials,” she mumbled. “What the hell is this?” Frowning, she checked again to make sure her name was on the front before she ripped it open and scanned the letter inside. Smothering a laugh, she read through it a second time more thoroughly.

“What is it?” Kevin asked, turning down the volume on the television.

Shaking her head, Caleigh grinned at him. “A mistake.” She glanced down at the letter. “Dear Ms. Davis. It’s our pleasure to inform you that your application to Galactic Nuptials has been approved, and a possible mate has been found. All that is necessary to move forward in meeting your life-mate is to schedule an interview and the mandatory medical physical. Please call our office at the number listed below to set up an appointment as soon as possible. We look forward to working with you to place you with your ideal life’s mate. Sincerely, Tarooka Meekers, Galactic Nuptials.” She tossed the letter in the trash pile. “What a screwup!”

“They approved it,” Kevin cried. He jumped off the couch and rushed to grab up the letter.

Caleigh narrowed her eyes. “What do you know about this?”

“We’re gonna be rich, sister dear.” He threw the letter down and grabbed Caleigh up in a bear hug, swinging her around.

“Put me down, right now.” Caleigh struggled to get free. “What have you done, Kevin?”

“Brought us in a load of money, for starters.” He picked up the envelope the letter came in. “Did you see this?” He pulled out a small card she’d overlooked. “They even sent a picture of your ideal mate.”

Caleigh ignored the picture in his hand. “What do you mean you’ve brought us in a load of money?” She could feel a knot forming in her stomach and knew that she wouldn’t like whatever he had to say.

“I mean a load of money. This place offers cash incentives for women to travel to other planets and marry guys.” He gave her a big grin. “They give a down payment and then you get the balance of the money after you spend three months with the guy.”

“I’m supposed to marry some alien so you can get a bunch of money?” she asked, incredulous.

He slapped his hands together and rubbed them back and forth. “That’s the beauty of this deal. You only have to stay the three months. After that, if things don’t work out, you can come home and keep the down payment. You just don’t get the extra payments. It’s like a dowry.” He took her by the shoulders and stared into her eyes. “It’s twenty-five thousand credits, Caleigh, just for three months of your life.”

“Are you insane? You want me to be a space bride?”

Kevin snorted. “Space bride? What a term. You make it sound like I’m marrying you off to a little green man.”

She growled. “Hello? You want me to leave Earth on a spaceship and travel to another planet to marry an alien man, green or not. No matter how you look at it, it makes me a space bride, and I’m not doing it.”

ADULT EXCERPT

Caleigh felt Andon press his cock against the small of her back while her tongue twined with Tarik’s. He shoved his hand up her top and cupped her breast.

“I want your clothes off, Caleigh.” Andon reached around and unbuttoned her blouse. Together, they slid it off her shoulders while Tarik suckled and tugged hungrily on her lower lip, kneading her nipples through her bra into hard peaks.

Andon’s fingers crept to the waistband of her slacks and slipped inside, sliding them down her thighs to drop to the floor. His hands caressed up her sides and then slid around to unfasten her bra, releasing her bare breasts to Tarik’s gaze.

“You’re so beautiful, Caleigh.” Tarik licked across the seam of her lips and then thrust inside to explore her intimately.

Caleigh stepped closer and pressed her lips to his chest. He hissed in a breath when she sucked the small brown nipple between her teeth.

Andon pressed in close until she could feel their hearts beating against her back and chest. Their heartbeats thundered against her own, the rapid beating of all three mixing and mingling until she wasn’t sure which was theirs and which was hers. Using his thumbs, he dug into the tense muscles of her neck, nibbling little bites across her shoulders.

Caleigh pinched Tarik’s flat nipples before dipping lower to touch him more intimately, grasping his erection through the thick cotton of his pants. Her fingers moved to his buttons and began tearing them open. Warm breath kissed her neck, and she jumped at the sensation of feeling trapped between the two handsome men.

Andon pulled her back and scooped her up, depositing her on the fresh sheets of the bed. Her hand drifted down his chest, pausing to caress the flat nipples. His lips brushed hers once, twice, and then settled, moving gently until the passion flared between them. Reaching up, he fondled her breast, rolling the nipple under his thumb.

Tarik moved close and traced around her areola with his tongue. He took one of her pebbled nipples into his mouth, biting gently.

Andon nipped her shoulder, laving the small bites, lightly running his thumb over the hardened tip of her breast. His mouth moved downward until he could cover one of the aching tips and suckle.

“That feels so good.” Caleigh lay a hand on each of their heads, her fingers combing through their hair. With each pull on her nipple, she felt it deep inside her pussy. Andon pulled her to her side, skating his hand down her back, cupping her ass. Behind her, Tarik’s erection nudged the crease between her cheeks, while his hand reached around to her breast, squeezing the already hard nipple between his thumb and forefinger.

Andon smiled when Tarik held her breast up like an offering. He lowered his head and lightly bit the erect nipple, soothing it with his tongue. Reaching out, he cupped her other breast, fondling and pinching the tightened nub while he pressed his cock against the inside of her thigh.

Catching Tarik’s eye, Andon nodded, and both men moved to the foot of the bed. They pulled her lower on the mattress and each grabbed a thigh and coaxed her legs wide apart.

“What’re you doing?” Caleigh raised her head off the mattress.

Andon rose over her nude form and nestled his shoulders between her creamy thighs. He was trembling from the anticipation of claiming her with Tarik. Leaning close, he flicked her clit with the end of his tongue, the taste of her causing his cock to harden even more. Flicking the little nubbin back and forth, he thrust two fingers into the damp heat of her pussy. He began to fuck her slowly with his tongue, her fingers tangling in his hair. She began thrusting her hips, urging him to press harder.

“No, brother. Don’t let her come yet. I want to get my taste. Tarik slid down and pulled at Caleigh’s leg. “Let me get a taste.”
