I read this story because of the baby and I liked the main characters in it. While I doubt a woman several months pregnant would want nipple clamps on her painfully sensitive bosom (OW!), I liked the unique plot of this story. The scene where they have the pregnancy in danger scare spoke to me as a mother to be. My eyes welled a little, because I imagined my reaction if my little fatty's life were at risk. While I get bored with excess sex scenes that are just thrown in for the heck of it, at least some of the ones in this one were more varied. The first one and restaurant scene were the two best in my opinion. There are words that are used repeatedly within close proximity of each other, but this is something the proof readers are supposed to look for, correct and make the author aware of, so I don't blame her that they neglected to do that. As I said, this book was good and I like the sassy, take no crud heroine. Heck, if the men are going to be that bossy and dominant, they need a woman who can hold her own and keep them on their toes. I thought the author did a great job finding a balance between making the heroes alpha and bossy, but still caring and thoughtful. That's not always easy to do and some books have the men acting like jerks, thinking that's hot. Um, no. If the guy isn't going to add some tenderness with his arrogant dominance then it's not attractive. I keep saying I won't read anymore, but dang it, Ms. Brooke! You keep throwing in side characters and their mates and I have to read "just one more". You clever thing. ;)

This was not my favorite Leah Brooke book but I still enjoyed reading it. It was just harder to feel the emotions of the characters than in her other books.

I wish there were more books in this series, I love it and I about to run out of stories. I sometimes wish there really was a town like this somewhere. All these hot male characters that really need stories of their own and soon. Real soon. LOL I guess my only real problem with this book is it has a plot element that I don't like, the big misunderstanding. Other than that I don't have any problems with the book and would recommend it to any that like bossy males and the woman that keep them in line.

Love the town - Thank you for this story and the others. Leah Brooke is a must read on my list of authors as I haven't read any of her stories that I haven't loved or re-read at least twice.

A wonderful series that I hope will continue to develope. There is so many people with a story I would love to read. Due to the large amount of characters it would be really nice to have access to a list of characters and their connections or family relations - e.i. a special homepage for Desire OK

I'm loving this whole series, I read Desire for Three recently, found Blade's desire by accident then figured that was it; you can't imagine my joy when i realised there were not one but THREE more books i had yet to enjoy! thank you Leah for creating this series, they never fail to transport me to a place i long to be which is in my opinion exactly what a wonderful book should do. (wishing there was such a place as Desire in the world!) I am eagerly awaiting the release of book 6 and the moment i can get my hands it i'll devour the entire thing within an hour or three! i truly hope that you have more planned for the future.
