Badge of Temptation (MMF) by Zoey Marcel (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$6.99
Categories: Menage a Trois/Quatre, Paranormal, Shape-shifter

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

I had to get this book when I saw the wedding rings on the cover. Love husband and wife stories. There are some sad parts since they're separated, but it all ends happily. Jill was strong and flawed, which I loved, and I thought the heroes were hot and different from each other. The paranormal aspect is light compared to some of her other books, but I liked the were-leopards. That was different. The sex was smoking! I liked that it happened in a believable amount of time. I also liked that past mistakes weren't justified. I got choked up near the end. Touching story about healing and forgiveness and love. A keeper.

Great book! Loved the sexy alpha werewolves and the chemistry between the characters. Lexi was an appealing heroine and I liked her story. The sex was hot and I loved how possessive and dominant the men were. Good work, Dixie! :)

Sexy! I enjoyed the originality of the plot in this one and the unconventional heroes. The story kept me guessing and as with the first two books in this series, I appreciated the variety and creativity in the love scenes. This one had plenty of kink! Lots of interesting side characters too. Nice to see the return of some and can't wait to hear the stories of the others!

Cowboy Boots and Untamed Hearts (MFMMMM) by Natalie Acres (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )

I liked this book. The plot was intriguing and the characters were interesting. I thought the youngest brother was sweet and I liked Riley, but Jett made me want to smack him. I didn't like that he'd been with married women in the past or how he said he didn't want the heroine, Sydney if she wasn't a virgin. What the heck? He's "used goods" so how dare he expect her to be perfect. Brock was my favorite and I loved the special bond he and Sydney had. It really made the book. The sex didn't occur until later in the book, but I didn't mind because the plot was interesting and the sexual tension was strong. I liked the variety in the sex scenes too. I'd rather have a few creative ones than a ton of the same thing. Good job! I liked Sydney's secret a lot. :) The second book sounds sad to me, so I probably won't read it, but the third one has me curious so I'll be checking that one out. This was my first time reading this author and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the whole slave thing too. That was different and hot!

I really liked this. The plot was unique, the sex hot and creative and the characters likable. Parts of it made me laugh and I could really picture the setting described. There is a forced seduction scene in it, but I'm one of the weird ones who likes that sort of thing. Overall an enjoyable read and an interesting twist on werewolves.

I enjoyed this book. While stalker plots are pretty cliche, I was impressed with the author for throwing a unique twist to it that I hadn't been expecting. I was so sure I had it figured out in chapter one. Nope. The men were likable and while I appreciated the strong heroine, it annoyed me that she could be so selfish as to stay and mess around with men who had made it more than obvious that they loved her, but instead she keeps saying "No I'm not going to stay with you forever because I don't want to hurt you, so I'll just keep screwing you and getting you more attached before I leave." That would hurt them a lot worse. What the heck, woman? Anyway, Spoiler alert right here. I love that somebody decided to make a woman's club in the town. Woo!! Seriously, I thought that when I read the other books. It annoyed me how the men in relationships could go into a sex club, but their women weren't allowed in. That would never fly with me, but I loved how the women just responded with "That's fine, but we're having a women only one." Hey, it's only fair. I enjoyed a few of the love scenes, mainly the first one, the rough one near the end and one of the middle ones, but most of them were repetitive and lacking variety. I can honestly say when reading this series I have enjoyed the plots and characters more than those scenes and I think that's what keeps me coming back to this little town. I appreciated the nice big length of this book without it being too long. Overall I enjoyed this book, but I have to say Creation Of Desire was my favorite, because I liked the heroine and heroes in it more. That and the baby plot warmed my heart. :)

Stolen Desires (MMM) by Stormy Glenn (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )

This was a good book that actually made me tear up a bit during the one scene. I liked the plot and the love/conflict between Saul and Ryce made for an emotional read. Funny thing, though, while I enjoy reading menages where there's a woman in it and also books between two men, for some reason a three man menage didn't really do it for me. That's a personal taste thing I guess. I really felt the connection between the two leading men, but while Cary was nice, I kind of wanted him to go away. Lol sorry. Also I thought a few of the reactions were a bit unrealistic, like going from wanting to kill somebody to calling them baby a couple of days later, but that could have been the whole werewolf fates/bond thing. The second love scene, the rough, emotional one between Saul and Ryce was hot, emotional and actually brought tears to my eyes. I was actually a little disappointed with the real reason behind Saul's outings. I was glad it wasn't what they originally thought, but I was hoping for a darker, more compelling reason for him not to say anything. I don't know. Maybe I've seen too many gangster movies. I liked the book. I just really loved the other one I read by this author so much more, Cowboy Keeper. That one was absolutely great, so I think I was expecting to love the characters, etc. in this one as much, but while this book was good, it wasn't as good as that one. I would like to read more of this author's books, though. She knows how to pick an interesting plot and create main characters that provoke an emotional response.

This was my first M/M book as well as my first Stormy Glenn book and it won't be my last of either. This book was excellent! Rarely do I read a book where I care about the characters as strongly as I did this one. The plot was good, no cliches. You could feel poor Billy's pain and root for him. I wanted to hug the little guy a number of times. The sex was hot too and the love story touching. This had it all: good plot, characters, romance and love scenes. I wasn't complaining. This book made me laugh in places and say: "Oo" in others. Rourke was loving, protective and delightfully seductive :) Great job, Ms. Glenn!

I read this story because of the baby and I liked the main characters in it. While I doubt a woman several months pregnant would want nipple clamps on her painfully sensitive bosom (OW!), I liked the unique plot of this story. The scene where they have the pregnancy in danger scare spoke to me as a mother to be. My eyes welled a little, because I imagined my reaction if my little fatty's life were at risk. While I get bored with excess sex scenes that are just thrown in for the heck of it, at least some of the ones in this one were more varied. The first one and restaurant scene were the two best in my opinion. There are words that are used repeatedly within close proximity of each other, but this is something the proof readers are supposed to look for, correct and make the author aware of, so I don't blame her that they neglected to do that. As I said, this book was good and I like the sassy, take no crud heroine. Heck, if the men are going to be that bossy and dominant, they need a woman who can hold her own and keep them on their toes. I thought the author did a great job finding a balance between making the heroes alpha and bossy, but still caring and thoughtful. That's not always easy to do and some books have the men acting like jerks, thinking that's hot. Um, no. If the guy isn't going to add some tenderness with his arrogant dominance then it's not attractive. I keep saying I won't read anymore, but dang it, Ms. Brooke! You keep throwing in side characters and their mates and I have to read "just one more". You clever thing. ;)

I would say 3.5 stars. I read a different book by this author that was average, but figured I would try a couple more of her books. This one was better, but there was a sex scene in the middle that dragged on. That aside, the scenes in this book were interesting and varied, which I appreciated. This is the first Desire book I've read and while I probably won't read them all, I definitely want to read Creation Of Desire, because of the baby. Plus its Rachel, Boone and Chase's story. I loved their banter in this book! It was my favorite part of this story. One part that bugged me was how Blade demands to know how many men Kelly has slept with. Okay. Reasonable question, but later when she asks him how many women he's been with, he tells her it's none of her business. Excuse me?! You can't pry into your partner's history if you're unwilling to share yours! I liked Kelly, but Blade I went back and forth between liking and wanting to smack him. Lol Overall, a decent read, but book 3 is the one I'm really looking forward to, because it sounds like the woman is just as aggressive as the men.

I read this book completely for the bears! I enjoy menage stories when the men are friends or lovers and normally don't like the whole "a bunch of bros want to share the same woman" cliche. It's weird and unrealistic. However, I really liked this book! I think because it was historical and they were bear shifters was what made it different and refreshing to me. The thing with the honey drops was so cute! Aw! The story was well written and I love that the author doesn't overuse names in her book. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because the sex got a little repetitive after a while. That aside, I thought the sexual tension was palpable and enjoyed the first scene especially. The mating heat thing was different because the human woman felt it too and was out of control. Sexy! Most books I read are average and some are downright disappointing, but I really had fun with this one. Bears and honey are so cute! I recommend this book for a quick, fun read, or if you are as happy over were-bears as I am.

Not the best book I've read, but certainly not the worst. The author is good at describing kissing and sex, but I wished she had mentioned what the heroine looked like. Four year olds don't talk like two year olds, mispronouncing every easy word they say, but that aside, the story had a plot, which I always appreciate and the security the heroine felt with the two heroes was actually palpable. I liked that she had a kid and a history. She was a good mama and the guys were sweet and protective. Happy ending and a nice gushy feeling afterward, so overall, fairly good read, but I've read better.
