Holy shit this pulled at my heart strings. Huck tries so hard and yet Peyton lack the ability to appreciate it. While I wish the explanation for Peyton's actions was more than OCD, I was still able to enjoy their attempts to fix a relationship that began on shaky ground.

I really enjoyed this book it was a quick read that managed to keep me entertained eliciting a variety of emotions from dislike to aww! A fun read.

It was good. I like that the protagnist in the story was the family. And that the father was trying to get his sons to be as miserable as he was because he did not have the courage to stand up for himself. But I think the character development could use some work.

loved spits and bellow... at first i wanted to smack Peyton upside the head for how he treated Huck but then as the story progresses you finally get to know each of the characters and see how their pasts and personalities got them to this point. i always love a story where there is a character to hate, this storygives you three... :D Peytons family, one word... horrid.. wasnt the word i wanted to use lol... but ill make this review at least PG... ha joyee flynn does it again... i love her books.... cant wait for more....

joyee flynn is a hit/miss author for me. some books absolutely rock and others hit rock bottom and leave me a depressed pile of goo, but luckily her midnight mating books seem to be hits. absolutely adore Huck. I laughed with him, cried w/for him and rooted for his hea. Peyton took some getting used to and some time to understand and accept. At times I did wonder about the author saying he's an alpha male b/c there was one scene where the culprit absolutely would not have gotten away with the act he committed w any other alpha male, Peyton, however, just stood there and didn't avenge his mate. other than that, it was ok and typical joyee flynn

wow where to start well again joyee has done it i loved huck he's so sweet and kind but has inner stregnth and shows it when needed i was ready to strangle peyton but when i realized he was gonna grow be a better person show the real him their love chemistry was felt in each page and has always kept me hoping it never ended ;) thanks joyee flynn for this beautiful story true love will always win
