Oh yes! The subject matter was dark and gritty with a tortured heroine my heart went out to. I love stories about healing and getting a second chance with the one that got away, or in this girl's case several men. LOL Hot sex with nice differences between the five heroes. They were like separate people instead of one guy cloned a bunch of times. The book has a happy ending, but there's one bad guy that's still out there.

Holy cow! This book is the kind of thing I love to read about and can rarely find in this genre. It's dark and gritty and doesn't pull any punches because it's a "romance." I'm seriously impressed. Sam Crescent is great at writing alpha men, and the chemistry between these two is hot. It was fun reading about a crime boss getting his woman. Thank you for writing this dark book! I've gotten so burned out on weak, fluffy cliches. This was great!
