I normally don't write blurbs about this series, but I had to on this one. I had more faith in Nero, being a computer geek and all, that he wouldn't participate or at least would temper the "investigation" with some knowledge. It was nice have a reunion, so to speak, and it was funny, so I gave it a 4 instead of a 3. It is worth the read, but the plot line definitely requires that you don't examine it too closely.

The only reason this got a 3 is because the plot had certain weaknesses. So, Sam theoretically freaks out when he learns of lycans, but fae, no big deal? Why did Sam's mother leave his father? Where is this fae kingdom that you can drive the cattle to but also can transport yourself to as well? If this book had been longer, it might have been possible to iron out the kinks in the plot, but it was too many elements to introduce in such a short format. As a love story, it is a good one.

This reviewer's rating: 1 - Poor

Not a regency novel, in my opinion. Many historical details are missing, the heroine's name is Cathy (not Kate), and the storyline becomes nearly implausible if you try to plug it into the time period (no mention of the Napoleonic wars).

Chasing Lacie (MFM) by Jenny Penn (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$5.99
Categories: Menage a Trois/Quatre, Paranormal, Vampires/Werewolves

This reviewer's rating: 2 - Fair

This book has almost nothing to do with the three previous books in the series. It is not set in SC, there are none of the other characters; the only thing they have in common is the Masters of Cerebrus and the demonic/demon possessed serial killer. This would have been better done as an adjunct series, with more background detail and more character development.
