I liked the story, but something about it doesn't strike me as memorable. It's probably that Whitley is able to overcome his social awkwardness so seamlessly and Jude gains an uncanny ability to know exactly how to read Whitley. It's all too convenient and lacking conflict.

I've always enjoyed Ms Evans work but was disappointed with this one and the other 3 eBooks I've purchased from her. I feel as though her writing style now is not the same as it was in her earlier work. I'm pretty disappointed. What's with the shouldn't..couldn't...not supposed to with this story? I've enjoyed one character is more dominant than the other but this and the other 3 are like neutral. Hell, I can't even tell which is which anymore which sucks big time! Jude is so riddled with doubts that he has no idea what the hell's going on himself....that type of character isn't dominant...loser is more like it. *shakes head* Again, very disappointing. I've always supported your work but I think it's time to move on to another author's work. It's really too bad because I've purchased most of your work. Oh well! Life goes on.

loved it - I love the humour and the tension. You never know from one minute to the next what twist there is in the story, and the unexpected moments of humour catch you off guard and make you howl!
