I really loved this book. It's the third in the series, but you don't have to read the first two to enjoy this book. This is a fun series of shorter books that are difficult to put down once you start reading.

Good read. There's drama and an HEA. Some parts of the story don't go smoothly, the jumps from one scene to another can cause motion sickness. Overall though, it is still worth the purchase.

Great read. Of course I loved it. The Wolves of Stone Ridge is a great series. Casey is a cute little guy and the addition of vampires adds a new element to the series. Jared (from Goading the Enforcer) makes an appearance in this book, too. Have to love seeing my favorite characters again.

This book is unusual because the author has gone into great detail with each scene. The prose gets a little flowery, at least compared to most contemporary writing. The writing reminds me of Jane Austen; well, in an abstract way. I did enjoy reading this and will read more by Susan Laine.

This is a different kind of story. I enjoyed reading this one, but didn't feel compelled to keep reading until I was done. I actually put it aside for a couple weeks while I was still in the first part of the book. I'm not sure if it was the writing style or the plot that couldn't keep me engaged.
