I liked the first part of the book, but it seems to me the other half was rushed. It got a little bit confusing about what was happening in the story line. Would have like to have a bit more words to explain some of the events taking place with the main characters.

Corinne Davies is definitely among my favorite writers and Steam Powered Passion cemented that with her world building, colorful characters and ability to transport me to a place where I really wished airships strolled the skies.

This is a really good steam punk novel. I enjoyed the author's writing style very much. Great action and a good story make this an excellent read.

"Steam Powered Passion" by Corinne Davies was a delightful romp through a steampunk universe filled with airships, nifty gadgets, and bad guys. I loved Mal and Sean: they were sexy and strong and intelligent. Even better, the heroine Tori wasn't a pushover. Her spirit and pluck gave the plot an unexpected sense of energy that I enjoyed. I'm looking forward to the next book in this world.

Loved it. I was hesitant to purchase at first because of the description but it was a really good story that flowed well. I look forward to the next book about her sister. ;-)
