Firstly, I love historical romances with black heroines, though very few authors write for this particular genre. There was a slight problem with continuity as it pertained to the sisters ages and when Khai met them as adolescents, but it didn't detract much from the story. I do think Zuri's initial demands and behavior as a woman of that period were questionable. Khai's personality was not as fleshed out or as Alpha as I like my heros to be, but I did believe in his feelings towards Zuri. There were also secondary characters engaged in side romances within the story. 3 1/2 stars.. ***the book is 181 pages with 173 actual story pages on adobe reader*** skyy

The story was good, though it was in need of a good proofreader who could have made it better and more polished. I loved the first book in this series and actually felt the love from the heroes to their particular sister of showers. The attraction and emotions from the brothers towards Summer were believable, even with Dalton running and fighting his feelings tooth and nail. Truly one of the better books in this genre. **Book has 167 pages and 158 actual story pages on adobe reader** skyy
