Dixie does it again! Another series that is steaming hot hot hot. I can't wait to read the rest of the sisters' adventures into bayou love! I must say, though, that the story is a bit jumpy in some places- especially towards the end- but it doesn't really detract from the overall storyline. I wavered between giving it a 4 and a 5 because of the jumpy-ness, ending up giving it a solid 4.5 in my mind. ;-)

Absolutely loved! Full of warmth, humour and good storyline, accentuated by amazing, steamy sex. The flow of the book is a bit jerky at times, but it doesn't distract too much from the overall story. Looking forward to Jaime's story now. Please say there is one...

Amazing story. Characters have you falling in love with them. Story has a lot of depth. Suspenseful, yet very hot and sexy. Have read it several times since purchasing it. A real keeper.

The premise is sexy, the characters amazing- at first, BUT the flow of the story was jerky. Bear a bit too wimpy. Cole was the most solid character and carried the book for me. Mari was two dimensional. Again, author setting up next in series with extraneous character development which detracts from this book. When reading a book in a series, I want to have secondary characters that I LOVE and desperately await their books just because of their 'natural' presence, not so here. Didn't find secondary characters very appealing. The book left a lot unresolved.

Not as good as I thought it would be, but still good. It's saving grace is the steamy sex. It's a bit confusing to keep all the secondary characters and their lives straight, especially since you know she is setting up the next few books (second one already published as I write this). I think this should have been done in the books pertaining to the secondary characters, not throwing in a lot of extra info not needed in this book.
