Lynn Hagen truly put her heart into this one. The Jess and Ben felt real, as well as everyone on the ranch. My heart went out to Chase. I couldn't stop crying (but I'm not going to spoil by telling what happens). This has become one of my favorite and will go into my reread pile.

This is an impressively heartbreaking book, but also uplifting. The characters are deeply compelling and by far one of my favorite books by this author. It believably potrays a gay romance in an ultra-masucline small town with very real obstacles to being open and honest about one's sexuality. I sympathized with Jess's frustrations when it came to Ben, but Ben's worries were completely well founded. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

Why cann't I find a guy like Reese?? I loved Kiki's quirky personality and Reese was just...sigh. Dreamy. I loved this book. Some parts had me crying, while others had me laughing to the point my husband thought I was insane. This is a must read and a great addition to an already wonderful series.

I have enjoyed each of the Pride Valley books however this is the one I was waiting for. This is the one that answers the question of how Alexi is doing with his pregnancy, how are Katron and Fjord doing and will they finally make chocolate? Oh and yes does Jari stay still long enough for Ewon to get close. Loving Jari is a very good read that brings home the thought that to have better you can't forget the past. Just wish the book was a little longer and not so long in between each book.

This book shows that the lions in Pride Valley are not entirely removed from their wild, non-shifter counterparts. I loved every aspect of this sweet romance. I even loved little Mykkel and his bravery. Looking forward to Asher's story.

One of the most enjoyable elements of this book is the family dynamic between Mykkel, Ewon, and Jari. Not only is Mykkel a wonderful cub in his own right, whose sweet demeanor and bravery is a testament to Ewon’s abilities as a single father, but the strong rapport that quickly develops between Mykkel and Jari lends further credibility to the idea that Jari was destined to be part of Ewon and Mykkel’s family. The romance between Jari and Ewon is also amazing, and it’s hard not to root for two men who are so identifiable and compassionate, and so obviously well-suited for each other.

I loved this installment to the brac village series. I really loved how Robby wouldn't give up on his mate and the unique ways he had of showing he cared. The crazy ransom notes were a hoot and so darn sweet. I can't wait to read Reese's story.

The title alone could have been enough to get my attention. The snow and thoughts of cocoa. :)I can see why this author is popular. Her characters are quirky and likable. I loved were bears, so this book was a must, even though I'm reading out of order. I might not know all the characters, but that's my fault for skipping books. I don't mind. Papa Bear was great. I felt bad for him at first because of his loss, but he gets his happy ending. This book had elves too. It had all kinds of critters. Just a good read. The author is good at writing snazzy narratives too in an interesting voice. I'll be reading her again.

Oh my goodness, this was so good! This is my first Lynn Hagen book. I know I read way out of order, but I had to. This book sounded too good to wait for. I loved the coyote shifter and how playful and aggressive he was. Reno and Baker were great together and the mating heat was hot and very real in this book. It was a cute story that made me smile as I read it. I'll be reading more of her books.
