The plot was a rehash of common MM storylines and/or refresh of original series wolf info -- and way way too much sex that felt almost like filler. There are plots I enjoy (e.g., running from abusive ex) but the reader needs some new twist to keep a reader interested. No new twists here. The MCs lacked personality and the one minor character introduced was interesting but not all that likeable in my view. I resisted DNF and with quite a bit of skimming thru pages I managed to get to the end. On page 120 of 124 finally finally something suspenseful occurred. It was kind of a cliffhanger which I don't care for usually. Not sure if it is enough to motivate me to get the next book in this series -- although I usually like Marcy Jacks. Disappointed in this one though.

I've been totally hooked on Hagen's Brac Pack, Brac Village, and if first in 3nd Gen is anything to go by my addiction is going to continue. Funny, hot, developed characters, dominating males and beautiful mates exemplifying possessiveness and protectiveness, and enough plot thrown in to keep these stories from being so overdone with sex as to become a snoozefest - it's all still there. Can't wait for more matings and adventure from this writer.

Predictability is typical for paranormal romance, but this one was just a little too predictable.

Fun read that keeps you turning the pages. I did not mind the use of Lacee's point of view. Seemed fitting to me since Lacee's reactions to the paranormals and the situation he found himself in were so integral to the story's appeal. The weres and vamps and humans had personalities that made me want to know them better. The world-building was just different enough to capture more than the normal interest of a paranormal romance fan. I think Blue Moon would make a super start to a new series. Would love to hear the stories of Ben, Ellis and Sam and how Lacee and family adjust to his new life.

The two MC were well-developed (maybe there was even a first book), but in this book the other main "character" was the planet they visited (can't remember the name) and world building that society. The third in the MMM had no personality and really no role in the story except to be a willing and virginal sex partner and a temporary one at that. Their mission which Cal often described as "intriguing" was, in my opinion, anything but. The book was not entertaining and I regretted the purchase.

I enjoy d/s fiction, but this one did not hit the mark for me. The main characters did not live up to expectation. The plot was shallow and I quickly lost interest, skimming pages just to just to the end.
