I am torn about the rating on this one, I would actually give it a 3.5. The story line was well written but I wish the characters were a little more fleshed out. Also the children were mentioned several times but they were never a part of the story. Bethany's character did grow and improve through the story but she still came across to me as not very caring. Also things just seemed to happen to easily. Would recommend as a light read.

If you are looking for a book with well written characters that are believable, steamy love scenes, heartache, joy, and a happily ever after then you will love this book. The characters are so real they seem like people you would know. They face real life situations, have immense joy and heartache, and then leave you wanting more. Heather has set up the characters wonderfully for several future books while telling an amazing story and letting us see how some of our favorite characters in this series are doing. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!!

Just finished this, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I am always a little nervous reading new authors. This is a story of learning that the way things appear are not always the way they actually are. Daniel has to learn to move past the anger he has focused on for the past 5 years in order to have a future with his mate Kiara and co-mate Rett. Kiara learns that what you think you want for your future and what you actually need are not always the same. Wished it was a little longer but overall a good book and it set up the next book nicely.

This was a wonderful addition to this series. The characters were very well written and relatable which can be a rare thing to find in a lot of the current books offered. I really liked that the love story is a progression not an instant thing. This story also highlights very well I think the way we think we know someone and the journey of finding out we really did not know them at all. This story has steamy romance, friendships becoming true love, and people willing to take a chance on love despite all odds. Very good read and I would highly recommend it.

I am not always a big fan of this author, that being said this is truly a good book. It will be going on my list of books to re-read in the future it was so good. It is really rare to find a well written ménage book where the two men involved have to work through the issues and jealousy that can occur in this type of relationship. Mett and Charlie had never planned on sharing a woman and they had to work to get past their individual issues so that the relationship could work. I also really enjoyed that the bad guy was not the obvious choice so you get a surprise in the end. Good book I would highly recommend.

What can I say, yet another amazingly wonderful book by one of the most talented writers I have had the privilege to read. I will say I wondered how Heather could make Beck into a Hero I would think would be worthy of Lucy, based on previous behavior. I should not have doubted that it could be done. This is a wonderful story about 3 people truly moving on from the past and coming to accept and welcome the love they are being offered. I will say that Lucy has way more patience than anyone I have ever met.

This book had the potential to be so much more than it is. The basis of the story is there and good but there is to little detail and there is next to no interaction between the main characters that is not sexual. The characters never really seemed to meld together for me for some reason, I mean they meet the brothers decided she is there mate, they have sex at here home and then leave her alone for the night. It sounded and felt and came across to me more like a booty call than trying to woo and win your mate.

I really enjoy Reece Butlers books and this one had a lot of good points and the characters did seem to actually share past histories with eachother and work through problems to become a loving family. My one real problem with this book was that Cassandra gets abducted and wakes up testing her jaw to see if it is broken because it hurts so bad. It is later pointed out that her face and jaw are swolen and she is slurring her words and yet the same night she has 4 screaming orgasms with one husband and performs oral sex for another with no problem and all of her injuries seem to be magically gone and never mentioned again or taken in to consideration. Overall a good book I was torn between a 3 and a 4 for the rating.

I love, love, love this book it is a great addition to this series as is now one of my all time favorites. The journey of falling in love and realizing just how precious every moment in life really is was really well portrayed in the love story between Seth and Jayne. This book is a great reminder to the rest of us to not put off doing the things we want to do because life is short and we never know what tomorrow will bring. The characters were very real, and most of the situations were ones that any of us could face on any given day which I really appreciate. We again are reminded what true friends are with the supporting group of characters from previous books in this series and the crossover characters from Lusty Texas and Love Under Two Cowboys by Cara Covington. Heather and Cara did a wonderful job working together on these two books and I am looking forward to more crossover characters in the future. This book helped to set up several new romances we will have to wait and see about.

I was torn between a 2 and a 3 rating for this second installment of the Holly Oaks series. I absolutely loved the first book and was looking forward to this one but it just did not live up to the first book for me. The characters were not as engaging and the overall feel of the book was to rushed, when I was done I kept thinking this is it? It does set up the next 2 books in the series well and hopefully they will be more like the first.

This is a good light read for the third installment of this series. The sex scenes were good as usual for this author and I liked that not allof the brothers had to be present everytime there was actually some one on one time. I also liked that at least one of the brothers got to truly see the type of life that Lena came from.
